How are you doing today? Do you have anything to rant or rave about?

What's your favorite thing about being a woman? Least favorite?

I woke up feeling hungry and nauseous. And a little lightheaded. I'm hoping once I eat it'll pass.

What's your favorite thing about being a woman? Least favorite?
My favorite thing about being a woman is that I don't have to act tough all the time and it's ok to cry. I don't know how guys do it. My least favorite is having to be pregnant but I guess that's also sort of a blessing too.

I have the worst heartburn I have ever had in my life. A little acid reflux to go with it. I'm really excited to go crib shopping after church, and hopefully have lots of down time this afternoon. I'm unbelievably exhausted.

What's your favorite thing about being a woman? Least favorite? Favorite thing - our clothes are way more fun. Least favorite - I wish I could pee standing up. :)

I feel much better today compared to yesterday. After our time in the caverns (and after making dinner) my house guests and I watched really terrible television that I didn't know I could stream: Bob's Burgers, Big Tips, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, and Hotwives of Orlando. It was magical.

I would like to rave about the chocolate covered shortbread my cousin and his girlfriend brought us from Texas. I die. I'd also like to rave about my Snoogle that another cousin gave me. I love Snoogle. So much. So, so much. Cousins are great, too.

What's your favorite thing about being a woman? Least favorite?

My favorite thing about being a woman is being a part of the female community. We are strong, intelligent, intuitive, and diverse. We are warriors, leaders and lovers. We overcame hundreds of years of oppression. We are amazing. I love being a part of sisterhood. My least favorite part of being a woman is when women bring each other down instead of empowering each other.

I am going to choose to rave today! My DH built me a rocking chair and apparently it is all put together. I am not allowed to see it until the baby shower in a few weeks but I am very excited. He is going to pick out and buy cushions for it.

What's your favorite thing about being a woman? Least favorite?

Favorite: this is a silly one: my husband is the "protector" and has to get up at night if I hear a scary sound :) total stereotype here of course.

    Least favorite: period cramps. Ehhh

I was pretty tired this morning, but I managed to walk the dog and swim a few laps in the pool. I'm pretty proud of myself for doing that instead of just going back to bed. We have our hospital tour this afternoon, and I'm super excited about that.

My favorite part of being a woman is that I don't have to put up with the pressure that men have to be manly. I love that it's ok to be more emotional (when appropriate) and not have to be the breadwinner (although I am). My least favorite is being objectified and treated like a naive little girl by assholes.

Not feeling well at all. And have to attend my sister's bridal shower today. Needless to say, not excited. I'm the "maid of honor"- wedding 10-12, due date 10-23. Yeah.

Baby girl woke me up with massive kicks- very grateful for her movement.

What's your favorite thing about being a woman? Least favorite
Favorite thing: having the opportunity to create and carry life! It's unbelievable.

Least favorite: nothing. Being a woman is pretty awesome. Periods aren't the highlight of my life, but they play into the whole "creating life" thing, so I'm fine with it. (Spoken from the mouth of someone who hasn't had her period in almost 7 months haha)

  • Woke up early because of lower back and hip pain would've liked to have slept in .
Anyone else having this issue to where it wakes them ? Other than that thankful it's Sunday

Being a woman is pretty hear other than having a period lol .
  • They opened an indoor playground next door to the grocery store we normally visit. I am so excited to take DS1 today! It has been too hot and too many bugs for us to enjoy being outside.

I don't know that I have a favorite thing about being a woman, but my least favorite is the pressure to maintain a certain appearance.  To fat, to skinny, not pretty enough, wears too much makeup, not enough make up, ect.  It's kind of crazy what we do to ourselves.

I'm doing well! Baby is moving all around. I'm still kind of in disbelief that this little baby is just swimming around in there. I wish I could see her all the time. I feel like I'm constantly pulling up my shirt to show people her shifting around. It's like Moms Gone Wild: Belly Edition.

"Small" little rant that caused a mini meltdown yesterday. I have previously posted about my upcoming baby shower so I'll try to limit the background... my MIL and her two sisters are throwing it for me. They invited me to a little planning session to go over menu and discuss time. Everyone knows I am not a morning person. Well they decided on the start time for 9am (to fit into the brunch-theme and another shower being held in a separate state at the same time). I expressed that it was really early for me and I was concerned my friends, many of which have to drive an hour to come, would struggle with arriving on time. They, mainly just the one aunt hosting the out of state party, said they would only push it to 9:30am and not any later would affect the OOS party (which only 12 people will attend whereas we have 24 at the main party). It's brunch... so that means lunchtime right? I just keep telling myself to suck it up and just appreciate the gift but I feel like it's stressing me out more than anything resulting in what my DH called "the worst crying session he's ever seen". He looked scared as I ugly cried for about 30 min.

What's your favorite thing about being a woman? Least favorite?
Favorite = the shoes. Least favorite = dealing with men in the workplace.

  • ::dusting off keyboard:: Hi ladies! I'm back after being MIA for a few weeks. Between hectic times at work and a week long vacation to the beach (MUCH needed!) I am back and hoping to be able to contribute again. I did keep up with most of what's been going on, but like a lot of you know, posting from the app sucks so I try to keep that to a minimum.

I'm in shock at how much my belly and baby have grown this past week! I'm officially in can't-see-my-hooha territory now. Shit's gettin' real.

Now that I'm back from vacation and it's back to reality tomorrow, I'm apparently pouting a lot. H keeps asking if anything is wrong of if I'm feeling depressed or stressed. I just want to go back to the beach!!

Favorite things about being a woman: probably the completely empowering experience of growing a new life.

Lease favorite thing about being a woman: The professional sector. Especially while pregnant, when I stand my ground or get firm with someone, it's brushed off because of "hormones." In court, if I get fired up about my position and start getting animated, I'm labeled a "bitch," while my male counterparts can do the exact same thing and they are labeled "fierce advocates for his clients."
