An update on Pearl: she is doing MUCH better today. The fever is completely gone and she is finally eating, after not eating anything besides breastmilk yesterday. Thank you all for thinking of her. She's currently having bacon for breakfast
For those of you helping with my what to wear poll yesterday...here's the overall while he's sitting. They don't seem to bunch up but I'm still not sure overalls are best for photos? I am seriously overthinking this but I didn't like how our first family photos turned out so I don't wanna screw up again! (This is not the shirt he'll be wearing)

@Audrey1787 I don't drain the grease and I add butter very healthy!
I brown the sausage and then remove it from the pan, add two tablespoons of butter and some flour. I then brown the butter and flour, add the sausage back in and then slowly add milk until it's the consistency I want it. So good

We are impatiently awaiting the day we can say goodbye to his girlfriend Ivy for good.
Yesterday's party went great! Vinny had a great party and a lot of people came...some who we didn't know were coming :-/ We rolled with it...couldn't do much about it. We have a few pics that I will post later. I didn't take a single picture...thank goodness for having a photographer! Today we are having a great day and heading to lunch with the ILs and go for a walk.
It's cute, but I think separates would photograph better @Cfreymc
Ahh I think you may be right, even though overalls are adorable. I e-mailed my photographer for a final verdict on overalls vs separates.

@ljs4117, I never really wore my other 2, but have lots with this lo....wish I had with the other 2, I love it!!!
We are running from one side of the city to the other today. We are going out to fil's house to visit family that got here from Wales last night, then we are out to my aunts house for a big family dinner with cousins that are here from out of town. Have a crazy week ahead of laundry and packing to get ready for holidays next Saturday. We have about a 6 hour drive, hoping lo will do well with it!!!

DH just lost his man card. He found a wood tick on him and proceeded to rival any school girl with his panic fueled squealing and prancing around the kitchen. All while screaming get it off oh my God do something help me etc.
And he wonders where Nikita gets it from. I only wish I had video taped it.
I feel so guilty. I went to the doc a few days ago for this crazy hip pain I randomly got. It was so bad I could bearly even bare weight. So they tell me no work for 7 days. Thats 3 shifts I called in for. 36 hours of paid medical leave.
Day after my doctor appt, I feel totally normal. Excruciating pain came on and disappeared for no good reason. Wtf. So now I have a week off of work and I feel so guilty for leaving my nurses hanging!
I have to remember to not post any pics on Facebook or update my status with any of the fun activities that we are enjoying on my medical leave. :-/
Andplusalso, im a little freaked out about this terrible pain that apparently can come and go as it pleases. How can you prepare for that?!?!
@cfreymc those overalls are friggin cute! I love baby overalls. That being said, our photographer told us, no patterns. She said solids photograph better.
You have a pretty cute kid though, and you are gorgeous, so I would imagine the photos will look amazing no matter what.
I've done three 5k races this summer and will do one more in September. They are so much fun and addictive! I did the c25k program and started doing the 10k program after I finished but got bored with it. I just can't run for that long!
Omg flea bites suck so much. Dropping baby off at grandma's (my mom) for a bath and clean clothes while daddy and I go to the laundromat and to vacuum our car. You know, the car with the broken window. I'm over this weekend.
After taking one nap at 9 am, my kid fell asleep for the day at 5:15. He usually wakes up at 5:30 am, so I'm really hoping a really early bedtime doesn't mean an earlier than normal wake up time. He also only took one nap yesterday. I think he might be a one nap kid now, because he doesn't nap well at DC, but from 9 months - 12 months took 2 two hour naps on weekends. The past few weeks, no dice. Not sure I'm ready for one nap.
A's party was yesterday and it went great. The weather held, for the most part, and the food was good. A ate lots of cake and had a great time swimming. I didn't take a single picture, but my SIL's bf took a bunch for me. Now I just have to wait for him to email them to me..... I do have one of Heather, Harper, me, and Aiden in the pool.
My ILs are staying with us until Wednesday and we haven't told them I'm KTFU so I'm trying to hide the exhaustion and nausea. Fun.
I haven't been on the board much this weekend, but I've been thinking of everyone. Hope everyone had a really great weekend!

Because I'm lazy.

Sorries and hugs to all those that need (I"m bumping while nursing ms.squirmy pants so no way I can address each of you yet).
@livvyx - Idk what I would do. Probably call the doc tomorrow to be on the safe side and see what they recommend. Hope it doesn't happen again!
