Noisey sleeper

My LO is extremely noisey when falling asleep at night. He sounds congested and like he's chocking and gasping for air sometimes, but he's always fine. He doesn't have reflux and he doesn't make these noises at any other time of day, even when he's napping and he naps in the same thing he sleeps in (the RnP), only difference is at night he's swaddled. Is it because at night he's sleeping deeper? (He does usually go for a longer 5 hour stretch at night...)

I asked my pediatrician about this yesterday because baby is noisy and sounds a little congested. She said to me: if you had ear plugs in and looked at your baby while he was making the noises would you think that there was anything wrong with him?

If the answer is no then he is fine. If the answer is yes then something is wrong.
  • I say he doesn't have reflux because there are no other symptoms. He is fine during naps and almost never spits up. @BMaidPlanner‌ I honestly dont know what SS stands for
  • It can be reflux even if it isn't bad. DD does the same thing. The pulmonologist suggested saline and keeping her slightly inclined.

I'm not new. I just hate The Bump.

  • Now might be a good time to update the "new here" post with the new regular threads.
