For those that did PIO shots or any type of Progesterone

Anyone ever miss a dose?

Dummy me forgot to order more vials of progesterone. Won't get it until Monday so that means I will have to miss one dose of 2cc's. Think that's ok? Well guess I have no choice. I will be 9 wks on Monday.

I also lost a vial of Lupron in the beginning. I can't believe I never forgot to order before lol.

Missing one dose isn't really a big deal. I missed, more like opted out of a couple PIO shots, cause you know they are literally a pain in the ass.

Especially at 9 weeks - your body is pumping out plenty of progesterone itself. One dose is no biggie

I had to bail out of one or two, I think youre ok. I cant wait to be done with those suckers!

I missed a week and a half with DS because I got a (wrong) negative pregnancy test.

I missed one night with this pregnancy because I fell asleep.

I ONLY HAVE 2 PIO SHOTS LEFT TO DO!!!!!!!

I forgot to take my progesterone dose yesterday.. Well I forgot until late in the morning and then we were heading to the beach and I didn't want that mess.. Figuring I'd take it when we got home. Then I just figured id just that my dose the next morning.

I've skipped a couple doses with my past 2 pregnancies. Not a huge deal

BeckyP005  I have never missed a dose but if I did I might add some extra to my shots over the next couple of days if I was concerned ( Talk to your nurse though!)  I am sure it isn't a big deal.  I am really hoping I can get off those shots soon!

@ksgsmu‌ hi there!! I called my coordinator this morning and she totally yelled at me! I said it was an accident. So far no bleeding. I'm hoping it's OK. I'm still nauseated so that's a good sign

BeckyP005  don't panic I am sure you are fine... before I left on vacation my doctor was literally in face saying that if I didn't keep up with my shots while gone I cold lose the babies...full of hormones I started crying of course worried to death...  after the nurse told me to relax that if I missed one shot it wasn't the end....

Did she tell you what to do??
