What's your max?

I used to think I really wanted 4, but LO is our first, I just turned 32 and would like to be done at/before 35, so 3 kids is our max. 

I had an uneventful pregnancy but an awful delivery.  If my next delivery is equally as awful, I'll consider stopping at 2.

If I'm still fit and healthy (and much more wealthy than I am now), maybe 38? These posts about aiming to be finished having kids before age 30 are alternate universe stuff to me. Good to be reminded this perspective exists. For the few people I know who did get pregnant in their 20s it was a complete or at least semi- 'oops'.

No clue really........ I'll be 30 this year, DH will be 28. We want 2 but we are in no hurry for #2...We want them spaced by a few years.
YEARS ago I thought I wanted to be "done" by 30 but it just didn't happen that way (by choice). I'm no too concerned by age though.

No idea. I'm 33 and can't imagine going through pregnancy again anytime soon. I HATED it.

Part of me wants just one more because it'd be nice for my first one to have a sibling, but the other part of me thinks that traveling, getting into an okay school, and affording life in general would be easier if we're one and done.

I guess I think maybe 37-38 is as late as I'd wait, but a good friend of mine just had her first at 40 and had a totally fine pregnancy.

I'm 33 and so is H. Though I think we may just be back to being one & done, if we have another, I'd like it to be by 36.

I always said I wanted to be done by 30 so that all my kids would have graduated before I was 50.  We will be done after this baby (#3) and I will be 27 when they are born, so right on schedule!

This was me. I always wanted to be done having kids by 35. I had DD1 a week before I turned 31 and LO about 6 weeks before I turned 34. We are 99% done. I didn't want to deal with the worry of being AMA (I have lots of anxiety), plus I want to be relatively young when they graduate and leave home. That said, if I had married later I would have tried to get pregnant past 35, no question...I've wanted to be a mother too badly to let age stand in my way.
