Don't hate me for asking! So many stores are having huge sales next week. Last year I didn't buy early for lo and missed really good deals. Anyone have an idea what they are getting their lo for Xmas? When do you start your shopping?

I don't hate you for asking. At this time last year I already had picked up a few things. My mom and I were just talking about this. We have no ideas. For any of the kids. Last year I nailed it. This year, is going to be much harder. I need to seriously purge their crap to see what kind of stuff I have left. But, even still. I got nothing.

The only thing I've thought about getting Grayson is a big boy bed. He'll probably need another toy box by then too lol

Ds1 is just getting into the idea of Christmas and gifts now, at 4. I don't plan on buying Lo anything other than things he may need like socks and shoes and maybe a lunch box. But overall the grandparents and aunts ask for ideas and I give them all the fun stuff to buy because he doesn't know the difference and they don't want to buy him socks
We always like to stock up on swim and pool stuff at the end of the season though because we have a pool and they take lessons the rest of the year, so maybe some of that stuff. You can always buy a sandbox or kiddie pool and fill with balls inside in the "off" season.

I know that I need to think about it now, but first I have to acknowledge that I will have 2 kids this year. So, probably just stuff he needs and extra cuddles.

Haven't bought yet but started a list. This years big gift will be a kitchen. That's the only gift I know for sure she's getting.

I am done! A toy drum kit. Toy golf clubs. Wonder Woman little people with plane. A Fancy Nancy Doll with 2 outfits. That is it.

Anna got a kitchen set and toy golf clubs for her birthday, and she is obsessed with both! She spoon-feeds herself from the pots and whacks things with the clubs saying "putt putt!" I haven't thought of much for Christmas, though.

Wood blocks, drum set, wood car set to play with on his car rug, maybe some of those peg puzzles.... And a 12 pack of Charmin. Kid loves toilet paper.

@anw39. In Australia, target and Kmart have big sales starting around the 26th of July. Last year I didn't buy anything. Sadly, we don't have Black Friday here so I don't get to shop it up then!

I'm thinking either a nice chair or a table and chair set. He is finally getting the idea of sitting still for more than one second at a time. I've also been debating a play workbench.
