First ever trigger shot

OMG...I was being so dramatic. Today was my first ever trigger with Ovidrel. Had b/w and u/s this am. Plan was to trigger tonight at 9 pm but just got the call that my bw came back and all levels were elevated, so it was time to trigger. I was completely freaking out about giving myself the shot. DH kept telling me he would do it and I thought I'd be ok with that but then I wasn't...and I was crying hysterically. I thought I would try myself, but I could not bring myself to do it. So, DH brought me a shot of tequila...then I let him stab me. And I did not even feel it.

So, now we get down to business and hope that O is happening!!!!!!!  Fingers crossed! :)

HSG: normal
Treatment: Clomid 50 mg (NR); 100 mg (NR); 150 mg (NR);

7-19-14 Ovidrel trigger w/ scheduled intercourse on 7/19 and 7/20
7-24-14 pregnancy symptoms started
7-31-14 pregnancy symptoms increasing
8-1-14 BFP!!
8-2-14 BFP!!
8-3-14 (just to make sure lol) BFP!!
8-4-14 b/w confirmed!
8-6-14 b/w still looks good, u/s scheduled for 8/14 and b/w on 8/13

    I asked DH if he would be willing to give me the shot, something about stabbing myself made me queezy, and he gave me a deer in head lights look. I ended up getting the shot at my cd14 u/s and didn't feel a thing. Good luck with this cycle!!

    Aug 12 - Feb 14 - Break
    Feb 2014   - New OB referred to new RE
    Mar 2014   - New RE visit #1
    Apr 2014    - TSH  level elevated, need to retest.
    May 2014   - TSH retested, higher than 1st test. Start on Synthroid. DH SA (Normal)
    June 2014   - Start on DHEA, CO-Q10, New brand of Prenatals
    July 2014   - Cycle came on its own, b/w on CD2, TSH (normal), Femara CD3-CD7, CD14 - u/s + Ovidrel + baby aspirin regimen. IUI #1 B2B on CD15/16 - BFN

    August 2014 - u/s on CD3 normal, Femara CD3-CD7, u/s CD12, Ovidrel on CD13. IUI #2 B2B on CD 14/CD15 - BFN.

    September  2014 - u/s on CD3 normal, Femara CD3-CD7, u/s scheduled for CD12

    Thanks Jenny!  Too funny about your DH...so did you end up doing it yourself?  I'm CD 22 right now I think...but my cycles are all screwed up

    No, luckily I was ready after the u/s so the nurse said she could give it to me or I could do it at home. I pretended not to care but said I would be okay if she did it, saved!!

    Haha I get that rainbowbridge! and nice, Jenny!  I can't imagine if I had to do it in front of the nurse...ugh! lol I was such a mess at home...probably would have helped to have to do it in front of a professional!  At least now I think in the future if I need to do it, I can do it on my own...maybe. hahah

    Too funny Lindy :)  Apresmoi...feel free to let yourself freak out the first time! It's really scary until you do it...then it's NBD :) You'll be fine!

    Ha!  This cycle was my first trigger and I was nervous too.  I made DH do it for me.  It didn't hurt much, but did have a bee sting feel and I was a little tender in the area of the shot the next day.
