I've heard on some mamas knowing within days of conception..... I think that's amazing and I was just wondering how many knew way before they could take a test.

Zero. Or, you know, less than the number that knew they were and actually weren't.
Son: Jackson, 11/02/06, stillborn due to PPROM and IUGR. Over the next ten years we had 9 miscarriages from 8-14 weeks. On May 18, 2016 my daughter, Ridley, was born. We're OADNBC.
I have been pregnant 3 times. The baby I m/c my first symptom showed around 11/12 dpo. My oldest dd my first symptom was around 11dpo and my youngest dd my first symptom was around 16dpo. Based on my own body i am not sure how anybody woukd know they were pregnant at conception before implantation occured. I think its a lucky guess.

I don't believe it's possible. I think that when you know you had unprotected sex you are on the look out for pregnancy symptoms, and then convince yourself you knew all along.
@CLECyclist - sorry, I understand that and know there are some people who are trying for their 2nd. I just feel this is more appropriate for possibly one of the "trimester" or "babies" boards. Plus if she did her research she'd know that it's impossible to "just know" a couple days after conception.
OP, you really need to find some more reputable sources for your TTC knowledge than blindly following friends' and internet strangers' wildly inaccurate anecdotes. It is impossible to feel true pregnancy symptoms or 'know' you're pregnant sooner than a week after ovulation. This is because of science, not "but my mother's cousin's daughter's friend swore she felt pregnant two minutes after she had sex".
Here it goes, I'll try to summarize it for you. It takes the egg, fertilized or not, a week or more to travel through the tube to the uterus and then implant (if it actually does that). Even if fertilized, that egg does not produce any sort of hormones until it manages to implant in your uterus 7-10 days after ovulation. Between ovulation and implantation or your period, your body does what it does every single cycle, which is prepare for a possible pregnancy. Many women's bodies react to that preparation in ways which are similar to early pregnancy, because the hormones in your body at this time are exactly the same whether or not you turn up pregnant - nausea, cramping, more frequent urination, etc. are often associated with progesterone, which your body produces to prepare for implantation whether or not you become pregnant. It's not until the egg implants that HCG (pregnancy hormone that tests detect) starts to be produced, and it's several days after that when levels of HCG become high enough to start causing true pregnancy symptoms and turn a test positive.
Anyone who swears they feel pregnant within days of possible conception is either looking for symptoms, self deluded, or spinning a yarn for dramatic effect, hardly a more reliable source than, you know, science and all.
