Intro from a dirty lurker (loss mentioned)

Hi everybody,

I've been lurking on this board for a few months and already know some of the ladies here from other boards. I realize there is a new board in the works which I'm looking forward to being a part of, but I also want to intro here because I have learned so much from this board and decided its time to come out of lurking.

My history is in my siggy, but for those who are mobile, here's the run-down: our DS was born 7/11/11. No problems getting pregnant or staying pregnant with him. Trying for #2, though, has been a different story. I've had 3 first-tri losses since November 2013. The last one ended in a d&c and my betas took a long time to go down. I finally got AF on CD70. My RE had me come in for a hysteroscopy yesterday to check things out before clearing us to TTC again. And he was not happy about what he saw in my ute. Apparently I have retained tissue from the D&C. He also saw a 2cm endometrioma/chocolate cyst on one of my ovaries.

Our plan is to get a an operative hysteroscopy scheduled to remove the retained d&c tissue. My RE does not want to do a lap on the endometrioma because he's concerned about ovarian reserve (I turn 35 in a week). Prior to yesterday's hysteroscopy, my RE sort of just told me to calm the F down and keep having TI. Now, with the added challenge of suspected endo, he says our time table is sped up and he thinks we should move on to Letrozole + IUI once all the crap is cleared out of my ute. So here I am, hoping to support you lovely ladies while I'm benched and to learn some things along the way for when its my turn.

Also, can somebody please explain the potato to me?

    Ugh! I'm so sorry for your losses :(. I'm also waiting an operative hysteroscopy for retained scar tissue (adhesions). I just intro-ed 2 days ago myself. Best of luck to you!

    BFP #1 7/21/2013--EDD 3/30/14--D&C 9/24/13
    BFP #2 1/28/14--MC 2/7/14
    IUI #1 5mg Femara + trigger = BFN
    IUI #2 5mg Femara + trigger = BFN
    IUI #3 5mg Femara + trigger = BFN
    IVF #1, Stimmed for 12 days, ER 8/22/14, 9 retrieved, 7M, 7F!!  Freeze all due to fluid in uterus.
    FET end of October 2014 cancelled due to fluid in uterus due to possible c-scar defect
    Surgery scheduled 12/12/14 to fix possible isthmocele
    3/26/15 transferred one 8 cell grade 4 embryo and one 6 cell grade 3 embryo = slow rising betas for 2+ weeks = ectopic MTX shot 4/29/15
    Repeat c-scar surgery June 2015
    2nd and last IVF cycle August 2015, stimmed for 12 days, 2 egg retrieved, both mature and both fertilized.  Transferred both 8-cell embryos on Day 3, beta 9/5/15 = BFFN
    MOVING TO ADOPTION!

    Hi, I was active on July 11 as well. When did you start trying for #2? Sorry for your losses, I just had 2 in a row myself, but they were ectopic. It really sucks.

    Hi again. Wish we were meeting back up on another BMB instead, but such is life. We started trying for #2 in Sept. 2013. Now I could kick myself for not trying earlier.

    Hi again. Wish we were meeting back up on another BMB instead, but such is life. We started trying for #2 in Sept. 2013. Now I could kick myself for not trying earlier.
    Yea :( We started NTNP in Oct 11 when N was still teeny, we figured we'd get all the kids out of the way quickly.. What a joke LOL. Isn't that what they say though? "When you want to make God laugh, tell him your plans" 


    We're getting ready to do IVF #3 pretty soon :/

    Hi and welcome. I am so sorry for your losses. I have lost three babies in 1st tri and after OB telling me "it just takes time, you are young" we found out tubes were fucked when I had ectopic. Gearing up for IVF next month. Wishing you luck and hope your stay is short here!

    IVF #2    Jan 2015 cancelled due to dominant follicle.  Converted to IUI #1. BFFN
    IVF #2.1 March 2015 cancelled due to dominant follicle.

    BFP #6  (SUPRISE!) 3/19/15.  EDD 11/30/15...  CP at 4w2d.
    IUI #2:    Clomid + Follistim = 3 follies. BFN.
    IVF #2.2 May 2015 - horrible response to micro lupron flare protocol: 3R, 3M, 3F. 3dt of 2 Grade 3 embies. BFFN. 

    BFP #7 (beyond surprised again!) 4/26/16. EDD 1/5/17. beautiful betas!!!! and then near-fatal hemorrhagic corpus luteum. turns out baby was ectopic after all; another lap 5/6 (@24dpo).
