Heard too often?

So, I'm having a heck of a time figuring out a girl name. I've liked Holly, but not too sure on it now, and I've been going more towards Clara. But I keep hearing Clara, it seems everyone I know knows of a little girl or new baby named Clara. I also like the name Marianne. Soo, what do you guys think of Clara, do you hear it a lot more now? And do you think Marianne (like Mary Anne) Joyce F---- goes well or sounds weird?

I know a little Claire, but I don't know any Claras.  Sometimes it can happen when you like a name you start to hear it all the time because it's more noticeable to you.  Clara is a great name and it doesn't seem too popular.  Holly and Marianne are good, too!

And also- if you saw Marianne- would you think it was pronounced Mary Anne or MarieAnne?

I don't know any Claras, my own DD is Holly so I am bias, but it's such a sweet name.

I know zero Claras, but two little Hollys.

Of all three, Marianne is by far my favorite.  I actually know a little girl named Mary Kate Joyce-- so to me the combo is familiar and lovely.

I know of 1 little Claire (which is pretty good for uncommonness) but the inly place I've seen Clara mentioned is here on the Bump. Never heard of one IRL. Love Holly. My English friend named her DD (same age as my D) Holly.
Like Marianne as well. Would have never thought it had alternative probunciations. Always sounds to me Mary-anne..

My niece is named Clara but she is the only one I know. It is a beautiful name. I do think Marianne Joyce sounds nice together, and I also like Holly.

Of the three my favorite is Clara.

Oh and I'd pronounce it Mary Anne. I don't think I've ever heard it as muh-REE-Anne

I really like Clara. Holly is very cute also. I'm not a huge fan of Marianne, it sounds old to me if that makes sense.

I love Clara. I haven't really heard Clara or Claire for that matter in many kids under 4 in my area.

I really like Holly.  Clara is super popular in my area and there are 2 little girls in my Mom's group with that name (one is 1 the other is 3).  There is also a Claire (1 y/o).

I love the name Clara and I know some little Claires, but I can't think of any young Claras that I know.

DS1 had a Clara in his class. And one of the little sisters is named Marianne. But those are the only children with those names that I have heard. And my sample is biased because it is a Catholic school. 

The flow of Marianne Joyce is very nice. Of all 3 of your names I like Marianne best. Holly would be my second choice.

I don't know any Clara's. I like the name ok, I guess it isn't really my style...sounds boring maybe? I think that Holly is cute but possibly too cute. Marianne on the other hand I love...so much love for Marianne. I would automatically assume it was pronounced the same as Mary Ann. I love Marianne Joyce and also love it because my grandmother's names were/is Mary Ann and Joyce. Lovely combo!
