Where are you in your TTCAL journey?  cd 12

Do you have any relevant appointments upcoming?
yes, seeing my OB on Monday. I'm nervous!

QOTW: Does your H know as much about TTC as you do?
He knows a lot more than he did. He watched the FF videos with me, and he knows about CM, temping and the process of implantation. He is pretty smart now :)

Open Topic. What is on your mind this week?
my appointment. I met with my PCP yesterday, who is a good friend of my OB (and a midwife herself). I love them both, they are amazing. She reviewed the ultrasound I had looking for cysts in April. Everything looked great and there had been one follicle which would make sense at cd 14. I asked about what my OB would do, and she shared that she thought everything looked good with me...I've been ovulating and having regular cycles, my uterus looks good and my blood work is all normal. I've also lost 35lbs since having Ana (yay!). She said 40% of infertility is male! So, she suggested having H do a sperm count before my Monday appointment to avoid testing on me if it really is H. He called his PCP but they haven't called back yet. My doc said if that is the case they'd do IUI. So...it was good to have some info. We'll see what my OB says on Monday. I also saw she does high risk pregnancy so that was another question I had. :)

Hi ladies- hope everyone is having an ok week.

Where are you on your ttcal journey?  cd 33 =(

any relevant appts. upcoming? cd3 ultrasound whenever that may be

QOTW: um this is laughable...he doesn't know much.  sometimes his questions are hilarious about timing and such.  I kind of try to not talk about it much with him as to not drive both of us crazy

What's on your mind this week?  as always just frustrated...these past two weeks where we have been benched have almost been a nice break...i can't tell you how nice it is to not have to worry about every little thing I put into my body or do.  I am just so ready to be past this season of our lives and be a "normal" person again.

Where are you in your TTCAL journey?  cycle 2, cd 19

Do you have any relevant appointments upcoming?
    nope

QOTW: Does your H know as much about TTC as you do?  Definitely no. He knows there are certain days we can conceive, and just in the last month he learned once those days pass your opportunity for the month has passed. Oh, he also just learned last month about the two week wait. He wasn't really paying attention or as excited about a baby when our son was conceived so he didn't notice the time pass. But last month about 3 days after ovulation time he was saying "are you pregnant yet? can we test?". It's been interesting!

What's on your mind this week?  Not much, we had our autopsy review yesterday and they didn't find anything new. They're going to do genome mapping to see if Lincoln had any genetic mutations or anything that might have caused his troubles, but that'll take 6 months. So for now I'm concentrating on trying not to be too anxious about a new baby having the same troubles. They only find something definite during genome mapping 30% of the time, and chances are if they do find something it was a random mutation and not inherited, so we're not waiting for results before TTC. I hope we're doing the right thing.

Oh, and tomorrow I'm testing, my cycles are usually 26 days so tomorrow will be 6 days before I expect AF. I'm so excited about that, I hope, hope, hope it's a BFP!

Where are you in your TTCAL journey?
Heading into a FET (frozen embryo transfer) following a BFN for IVF #5. I've gotten BFP's for transfers 2 and 4, so hopefully 6 can continue my even digit-cycle BFP trend.

Do you have any relevant appointments upcoming?

    Lining check on Monday.

QOTW: Does your H know as much about TTC as you do?

Not as much, but I'm impressed with what he does know considering he doesn't spend all his free time on the internet reading like I do. After 1 or 2 failed IUIs I got him the book, "How to Make Love to a Plastic Cup," and it was life changing!  He was so much more understanding (of my feelings) and could participate in conversations with my RE along with me, including asking his own questions.

Open Topic. What is on your mind this week?

I think the same thing is always on my mind: the boys. Will I always keep track of: they would be X months old, they would be doing X, we would be taking them X, etc...? I will never forget them, but this runs through my head constantly. If we are lucky enough to get pregnant again, will this continue? (PGAL ladies--feel free to weigh in.)

Where are you in your TTCAL journey?  Cycle 4 CD3

Do you have any relevant appointments upcoming? For now, no. Not really sure how long to wait before maybe seeing someone and seeing if there is anything that we should do, try, etc.

QOTW: Does your H know as much about TTC as you do? Not quite as much, but he is getting there. He's very interested in all the information. Some days he'll ask me what my temperature said today, like it is going to tell me some deep amount of information. ;)

Open Topic. What is on your mind this week? I think both my husband and I thought that I might be pregnant this month, for various reasons. It was the unspoken elephant in the room. So it was very, especially hard when CD1 arrived. I know it hasn't been too long yet, but I think I'm also starting to get a little discouraged because I remember how long it took us to get pregnant the first time, then I had to wait longer than many people because I had a C-Section. I guess I just hoped it would be different this time and we'd be surprised in the first couple months. I also see my son's birthday approaching in three months. I wanted so badly to be pregnant by then (pregnant enough that I would have already told people), as if that somehow would make it easier to get through. And each month I see that being less and less likely (I know, I still have a couple months...) Sigh.... It's like a second punch in the stomach that it isn't easy like it is for some people.

Where are you in your TTCAL journey?  cycle 1, cd7

Do you have any relevant appointments upcoming? no

QOTW: Does your H know as much about TTC as you do?
He probably knows more than I do. He majored in biology and had to learn about all that reproductive stuff. I know he still has a text book about it somewhere in the house.

Open Topic. What is on your mind this week?
We are finally okayed to TTC, as of today. We have been waiting for almost 6 months. It seemed like we would never get here and now we are. Now I'm not sure how I feel about it. I still want another baby. I want one ASAP, but I also don't really want to be pregnant. I don't like being pregnant. It's a miserable experience for me.

I realized today that we have never really TTC before. We weren't preventing when we got pregnant with DD or Nathaniel, but we've never really tried before. I don't know how actually trying is going to affect me, especially if it takes months to get pregnant.
