It ain't chocolate… thats doo-doo baby!

@Lilygrace48 can we start a new poop thread for the LO's? Or did you already and I can't find it?  Either way, I gots some doo-doo questions!

First off, my LO hasn't poo'ed today… worried a little about that.  He's also been farting like a real champ. Loud and stinky.

Second, his last few poos leading up to today were very runny and brown as opposed to yellow. We have been giving him more formula recently bc Im trying to stash up for the nanny since Im officially back to work.  So, I assume thats why?

  • Formula always makes mine have more runny brown poos. Bottle in general seems to actually. Even pumped milk.

I noticed I had baby poop on my hand at about 4 pm. I hadn't changed a diaper since 2 pm. Whoops.

I went to meet my school's new principal and realized while there that I had poo on my hand. #newmomproblems

  • No worries! I did one week but my brain isn't working like it used to.

I am also finding that the poop is starting to smell, and I ebf. I think its natural as the floors in his gut start to grow and stuff.

My baby is formula fed only aside from like 1-2oz of BM a day.. Her poop is green and seedy... Normal? Idk poop is confusing!

Probably the formula making it green. I worked in a nursery for five years and I have seen all sorts of colors. Including bright blue, which was from formula. I have also seen a barcode sticker and glitter. I think black or bloody is what you have to watch for.

I've noticed DS's hasn't pooped nearly as often as he was pooping in the first few weeks. The doctor said it was normal that around this point the digestion starts to slow down. She said even if it slowed down to every several days it was fine.
