Flying with Meds

In two weeks, L and I are flying down to NC for my cousin's wedding. I will be in the 2WW and need to bring my PIO with me. I have already been on TSA and US Airways websites and will call the airline tomorrow but just wanted to check to see if anyone had any specific advice or specifics about this. Also, it says BM, formula and juice are okay through security...anyone know if WCM is also considered okay? We get it from our local dairy and I'd prefer to bring it with me as opposed to giving him store bought milk if possible. Any other tips/tricks for flying solo with a toddler?? TIA!

    No experience with the milk but I have flown with meds. I got a note from Rae and pulled it our in a ziplock bag. Never got any questions.
    TTC since June 2011
    DH diagnosed with Testicular Cancer 8/2010
    Low sperm count. Only option IVF with ICSI
    Starting First cycle Jan/Feb 2012- Canceled due to not responding to BCP and/or Lupron
    IVF 1.2- stims March 14, ER March 24, 16 R 10F 6 made it to blast
    ET March 29- transferred two blasts, 4A and 4BA, froze 4
    Positive HPT 9dp5dt Beta 1- 385 11dp5dt
    u/s April 25- one healthy heartbeat
    EDD 12/12/12>

    Ditto PP. I had a letter from the RE which they didn't even look at. I had all my needles and medicine in one bag and told them beforehand it was in there and asked if I needed to get it out and they said no big deal! Hope you have fun at the wedding!
    MF (low motility) - Began stims for IVF#1 7/21/12
    ER 8/2/12 - 14 eggs retrieved, 12 mature and ICSI'd, 6 fertilized. ET 8/7 - 2 embies. Beta#1 8/17: 143! Beta#2 8/20: 590! Beta#3 8/22: 1,162! 1st US 9/4: one beautiful little bean with the best sounding HB I've ever heard!

    I have flown with milk, water and meds. I even had a refrigerated medication that I carried on with a little cooler and ice packs. I didn't bring a note, but all the medications had the prescription on them. One airport did a dip test on the liquids, but otherwise it was no problem. Like PP's said, just separate them from the other items and let them know.

    IUI's #1 - #4 Follistim = BFN's
    IVF #1 w/ ICSI + PGS: Lupron/Follistim/Menopur
    ER 4/13 - 19R, 13F, 4 PGS tested embryos, 1 normal
    5/14 FET: BFP. Beta #1: 123, Beta #2: 327, Beta #3: 854
    Cora arrived 1/23/15 via RCS!

    If you are using ice packs they must be frozen solid when you go through security.

    Like @kmc84 said, if you have meds that need to be refrigerated, the ice pack must be frozen solid going through security.  I've had to fly with meds a few times.  I was never given any problem with the meds, just the ice packs.

    ~SAIF/PAIF/Everyone Welcome~ 

    Me= 37 and DH = 41 

    Dx: DOR, Endo, APA+ (really high beta 2 glycoprotein antibody and high everything else tested), heterozygous MTHFR mutation, positive for lupus anticoagulant, high FSH, low AMH and both tubes blocked (per HSG on 3/8/11)

    IVF #1 - long lupron (with HGH, intralipids, lovenox and BA); 4 retrieved, 3 fertilized; ET 2 blasts and 1 frozen = BFN

    IVF #2 - a version of antagonist with EPP (with HGH, intralipids, lovenox and BA); 6 retrieved, 4 mature, 3 fertilized, 2 blasts and 1 frozen blast transferred on day 5 = BFN.

    IVF #3 April was postponed to May, May was canceled. June/July was canceled. Had a cyst aspiration and then began IVF #3 in August. ER on 8/22; ET on 8/24 with AH. +HPT on 9/5. Beta #1 (11dpo) = 3; Beta #2 (15dpo) = 29; Beta #3 (17dpo) = 60; Beta #4 (19 dpo) = 118. Heartbeat at 6 weeks 6 days =132.  Lil is here!

    TTC#2:  Trigger + TI = BFN; Clomid + Trigger + IUI = BFN.

    IVF #4:  BCP + MDLF + Lovenox = 7R, 1F = Transferred 1 6-cell embryo on day 3 = BFN

    IVF #5:  MDLF + Lovenox = 4R, 1F = Transferred 1 10-cell compacting embryo on day 3 = BFN

    IVF #6:  (New RE):  Long Antagonist November 2014 (transferred two 8 cell grade 1 embryos and froze one blast) = BFN

    FET#1:  BFN
