"too frequent" urination?

I know that frequent urination is nothing unusual or worthy of worry when you've basically got a bowling ball sitting on your bladder all day. But today I've had to go, urgently, literally every 10-20 minutes. I haven't had any more/less to drink than other days. It's definitely not leaking waters-- since I can control it. I had lower amniotic fluid levels a couple weeks ago, and am either at my due date now or a week away (depending on measurement). I figure it's nothing to worry about-- just another lovely part of being ready to pop. But I thought it was worth asking, just in case! My google search was not helpful.

I don't go that often, but I remember reading somewhere that your bladder is constantly refilling, even if you haven't had a drink lately. Have you been retaining a lot of water lately? Maybe you're losing some of it that way, if you have been!

Also, are you laying down more during the day now? When I lay down, I tend to need to pee a lot faster than if I'm up and about or sitting. Not sure why, but at night it's friggin' annoying.

Before I delivered DD I was sometimes going about every 30 minutes & only enough to fill a thimble.

Thank you all!! I'm relieved (haha) to know that it's not anything to be concerned about... @ADC1979‌ I have been laying down a lot and it would make sense that I'm shedding some water lately. @LaceyDanielle‌ I hope it means labor is impending!! At least in he next couple weeks.

@skeemer -- yep. Totally in that same boat now. :P
