PSA for cycle after failed IVF

I'm sure some of you know this already. And of course I hope none of you need to know this in the future, because I hope you all get BFPs.
But, I wish I had known, so I'm,giving this PSA. Apparently it is common for the cycle following an IVF BFN to be late - like average ten days longer than your normal cycle. Since I had done five IUIs and a previous IVF, you thought I might have heard or experienced this before... but my first IVF, the cycle immediately following was an FET cyle... so I didn't have a unmedicated cycle post IVF before.

Just a PSA so you don't go crazy from no sign of AF days after it should have come. It took some googling to finally stop my brain from crazy town.

This first month of adjusting to Child Free not by choice is hard, but not horrible. I thought beforehand that maybe I'd get some therapy to handle it - but I find that having prepared and thought about it for the last year has really prepared me. Only had one really bad day after bfn week (it was Monday because Simalac sent me a fomula pkg for my mc boy who's due date should have been in three weeks).
Other than that, I've been fairly good. We're still waiting on the short sale house we want to buy, dreaming of home improvements and vacations we will do next year. And currently preparing for our towns' annual fest that Jeff and I volunteer five days to put on.
Thanks for thinking of me. I lurk here very rarely now, but am still on ttcal almost daily. I hope after next months edd I will feel the need less and less to even come to TB but love to just know you guys are around when I need people who "get it".

@katib77b - Glad to hear you're holding up pretty well. I imagine it's got to be liberating in some ways, when you finally let yourself stop banging your head against this wall. If nothing else, stopping the endless cycle of hormones must help one feel sane. I hope you get your house!
