First Time Parent.

Hello everyone, I am Mike, a 24 year old male and my fiancé and I are shooting for our first child after being together since 11th grade. We're very excited but even more nervous. Just wanted to get some advise from those who have been there or in the same situation I'm in. We both come from decently wealthy families so buying things for the baby isn't a problem, it's KNOWING what to buy and what NOT to buy. All help will be appreciated from us both.

    Not everyone on this board has had a child. You will probably find more success if you head to the 0-3, 3-6 month + boards as those ladies are in the full swing of things!

    DX (me): Inborn error of metabolism - protein restriction, metabolic formula & weekly blood tests
    DNA Results (7/1): DH is NOT a carrier for my genetic disorder! 
    7/3: Metabolic clinic gave the green light to TTC - holy crap!

    You should totally start a baby registry, like yesterday. Since your families are super wealthy it shouldn't be a problem. Is it okay if you throw on a few things for my future/unconceived child?

    BFP: 9/15/14 !!

    I'm sure they have love and they think that's all it takes. And if not, they have money!  8-| haha
