Nope. Someone said on here they were advised not to as baby might clamp down when they get startled by the shot. Which makes sense and would hurt like a mother I'm sure.
I just talked to ds and kept his eyes on me while rubbing his belly to distract him.
Never even considered it. The nurses at our pedi's office just have a parent hold the baby's arms still while they lie on the table. I bet nursing would make it easier if they allowed it, though. Huh.

Nope. Also just held down baby's arms. DD took them like a champ. I heard about nursing them during shots from a friend but also considered her biting down. No thanks.
They were so quick he didn't even cry for the first, cried for the second but it was so quick I was able to pick him up and console him in a matter of seconds.
We just had our appt this morning. I nursed him as fast as I could after. He didn't notice the first shot but then started crying. Only cried for a minute but that was the first time I've really heard him cry
Just got them done today and no. She wouldn't have eaten anyway though. I tried to nurse afterward but she was not having it. She just wanted to be held. I shushed her and she fell asleep. She's been sleeping ever since - 2 hours later.
The nurse said I could feed during-either nurse or bottle feed. I fed her a bottle and she didn't even flinch, then promptly slept for 3 hours straight.
