If a girl or woman is playing in a co-ed environment, then she shouldn't be treated any differently. I feel the same way about women in the military or that choose to be police. They should have one standard for the career field, not separate standards for men and women.
This +1000. I don't think there should be different physicals for police officers or soldiers, either. It's hard enough for women to feel equal to men in such fields, but I know in the military at least, there are ribbons you can earn that have lower standards for women to get then men. Then the men see a woman wearing that ribbon and assume "well, she's still not as a good as me, because she could get it easier". That's bullshit for both sides. Women should be held to the same standard for the same recognition/employment.

Yes, I get that women and men have substantially different physical make-ups. I don't care. If you can't lift a certain amount and the job requires that, then you can't do the job. Ditto for jumping, climbing, long distance running, and reflexes. Those are about split even between men and women on who generally fares better and when it comes to testing/qualifications, it should just be the same.

Sorry. Huge pet peeve of mine. Everyone screams for "gender equality" and very few people get just as angry about those differences in qualifying tests as they do about pay or career advancement. Equal should be equal. Period.

Oh, it's politics time? Checking in as a conservative libertarian here! Keep your hands out of my wallet, your nose out of my schools, and your regulations out of my gun cabinets. Thankyouverymuch.

    I love country music.

I kinda don't want to move out of Texas.
Hi, political opinion twin. I need to get BACK to Dallas!
