I am 3dpo and just got my CH today.  My temp was super high this AM and the last time it was this high was my BFP cycle so that is getting my hopes up even though it is too early to mean anything

5. How do you feel about this cycle? (Are you hopeful, anxious... etc)
My hopes are way too high.  I need to calm down.

I am the oldest of 4, 3 girls and a boy.  My mom had my 2 younger sisters at 40 and 41.  My Dad is an only and was born when my grandma was 40 so a long history of big generation gaps.

I was 1st child for my mom, she had two miscarriages prior to her pregnancy with me.  My father had 2 children from a previous marriage.  My mom was on the older side of normal for a first child  (for 1972) 27 and my father was older he was 36.

3. I'm so close to IUI I can taste it. I am down 5 more lbs so I only have 10 more to go. Granted most of those five are a result of food poisoning this week. But i'll take it! Otherwise just trying to time it right, which never works for us...

4. 2ww, no symptoms. 

5. I'm not too hopeful. I was so sick with the food poisoning that BD was out of the picture; although we did get 2 good attempts before I got sick. I also took ibuprofen because I was so sore, so I'm sure that's going to mess w/ any prospects too!

QOTW: I'm in the middle between my older sister and my younger brother. My mom was younger than me when she had me, 32. But I suppose that's older to be having kids in that era (1977).

This was my first cycle with Letrozole and progesterone.

I'm 11 DPO. Standard PMS symptoms. BFN this morning.

5. How do you feel about this cycle? (Are you hopeful, anxious... etc)

I feel crappy about this cycle. I had a cyst burst shortly after O, which was incredibly painful. The letrozole made me woozy, and the progesterone has been giving me migraines and making me feel depressed. Everything feels super hopeless right now, which I'm sure is a byproduct of the progesterone. The RE said the cyst doesn't affect my chances of conception, but I don't really believe her. I just want AF to show up so I can stop the progesterone and move on to the next try.

Shout out to my DH, he's been a trooper through this whole miserable month.

I'm the youngest of two, my sister is 2.5 years older. By 1970s standards, I had Methuselah parents - Mom was 36 and Dad was 41. Nowadays those numbers are totally normal. Oh, and a random factoid - my mom shaved ten years off her age. I didn't actually know her real age until I was 11 and my sister and I found her birth certificate in the basement.

4. Where are you in your cycle? 2WW, not very hopeful this cycle....just same old symptoms I have had the past 8 months. And my symptoms were pretty much the same with the chemical pregnancy...so yeah, no symptoms. No spotting yet (knock on wood) which is good because I have had a LOT of spotting starting around 5 DPO since my chemical...so I don't know if I have had more (unknown) chemicals or if it has to do with my short luteal phase. I suppose that is what the RE will be there for to find out!

5. How do you feel about this cycle? Anxious, because it's my last ditch effort before the RE. I don't think I will get lucky this month, but I'm hopeful to get started with the RE.

My parents had me at 38 so yeah, they were mature. And my mom was "old" for 1979. She said she didn't think she was even fertile anymore. HA! Little did she know....

@katie0919, my RE asked for my last few first day of menstrual periods, then for a medical history so she could request appropriate testing (for example, my childhood appendectomy put me at risk for tubal scarring, so she requested an HSG). Then she reviewed the results of DH's SA (he'd had that done before the appointment). After the consult, we did a transvaginal US to check my egg supply and to make sure my babymaking equipment was a normal size and shape. Afterwards, I did a small amount of bloodwork in a nearby lab.

3. bumping it up a notch. went to RE last week for consultation, he said my eggs look great (relief) but I have endometriosis (just a little?). doing acupuncture, trying to meditate, cut out most caffeine, taking ayurvedic herbs when i can, maya arvigo abdominal technique

5. I really was hopeful last cycle. We were on vacation, I felt intense ovulation, very romantic BDing on -3, -1 and 0 days. The first few days after O, I thought I had symptoms but then they faded.  Hoping for this month, again!  Going in for next steps at the RE, bloodwork. DH is getting spermies looked at tomorrow.

I'm the oldest.  My parents were 27 and 28. But my stepmother was 39 when she had my stepsister. And my uncle was 54, aunt was 40 when they had #2.

3. Using the Ovia App. Just bought a basal thermometer and some OPK's.

4. I am on CD13 so I am in my FW. According to app, I should have "O'd" yesterday, but I haven't had the usual cramping. We BD yesterday and on Monday, and probably today and tomorrow if DH has his way. LoL

5. I would love to get a BFP this month. I would have an April baby. Also even though it's silly, the chinese gender calendar says it would be a boy. [-O<

I have only one older brother who is 3 years older than me. My mom was 24 when she had me and my dad was 30. Kinda rare for a Mexican couple to only have 2 kids (lol), but my parents wanted to be able to give us what we needed so they knew a big family wasn't do'able. My mom also found out when I was 18 that she had endometriosis and other stuff going on so she had to have a hysterectomy. Dr. said that could be why she never had any other pregnancies.

TAT2MAMI - there's no telling these days! Last month I only had an 8 day luteal phase and I've had tons of spotting after O since my chemical in March and low progesterone draws (hence the reason for the RE)....I'm 6 DPO right now and so far no spotting, so that's good. I've been doing acupuncture weekly this month and using the crazy chinese herbs and taking some extra vitamins that have been shown to improve the luteal phase...so we shall see!! The 2WW really does blow....like blows big giant, hairy balls.

I had 2 OPK tests left over from January's cycle. I may have gotten a faint positive on the second on which I took on CD13. We did have good timing as long as my O wasn't later than CD16.

CD21, so I am in my 2WW. I am pretty sure it is all in my head, but in have been mildly nauseated in the mornings (they do say that is not a PG symptom until 6 weeks, supposedly and I would barely have implanted, but one does like to conjecture) and I got a headache last night (which was one of my most common symptoms in Jan). We shall see.

5. How do you feel about this cycle? (Are you hopeful, anxious... etc)
Cautiously optimistic, but also a little scared. PGAL brain is kicking in before I even POAS.

I am the oldest of 2. My mom was 29 when I was born and my dad was 30. My mom had 2 MCs between me and my brother. She was 33 when he was born and my dad was 34. Somewhat older parents for the late 70s.

Went in for CD3 bloodwork, all came back as good as can be, given age.  Got go ahead to have polyps removed next friday and start estrogen after that.  Wow - might actually be starting IV.

One app says I should have O'd yesterday. Another app says my most 'fertile day' is tomorrow. I started having my cramping just this afternoon so perhaps that means I'm getting ready to O.

CD 7, 4th day of Follistim shots.

Up and down.  My CD3 antral follicle count was only 7, which I found very depressing.  I seem to be responding to the meds, however.  It was 20 today, although they're all still small.  We shall see.

I finally miscarried and I'm getting weekly blood work to track my HCG down to zero.  Otherwise, we're holding off TTC for a couple of cycles.

This cycle is a healing cycle. I am focusing on my health and weight loss.  I am changing the way I eat and I am attempting to focus on nutrient-rich real food, and cut out the sugars and foods with a high-glycemic load.  We'll see.  I've got to make a change, whether we are able to have another child or not.

I'm in the 2WW. "Pregnancy" symptoms hit me yesterday - dizzy, fatigue, nausea, heartburn, frequent urination. FX

Hopeful, but without any anxiety, which is weird....

Using app to track cycle. Haven't temped & charted yet. Will start next cycle if this one wasn't successful.

AF due today. Breasts have felt fuller and sore last few days (slightly different from AF) and I've fought to stay awake past 9 PM this week. Work has been crazy, though, so that might be the culprit of my exhaustion.

5. How do you feel about this cycle? (Are you hopeful, anxious... etc) Feel free to add any vents or shout outs.

ANXIOUS. Want to test but don't want to be disappointed. DH is gone for a couple more weeks and doesn't even know I suspect PG this month. (He just enjoyed the extra ::ahem:: attention he got this month.) If it's not positive, I don't want him concentrating on that. He's already worried that our ages are going to hinder us.

I'm the baby of 4. Oldest sibling is 16 years my senior. Parents were 37 & 40. I was the surprise so they obviously didn't have any problems conceiving at a more "mature" age.

2. TTC #2. I feel like last cycle and this cycle were throw aways for different reasons.

3. Charting and temping, being more careful about temping at the same time each day and also charting CM this cycle.

5. Not hopeful at all. AF was totally weird, starts and stops and then super heavy then spotting for days. CM seems weird like boogers now and has me worried (sorry for tmi). I don't know if this is weaning or something is wrong with me or it's nothing at all.

Went back to temping.  Decided to go back to the philosophy "drink till it's pink" - obviously I'm not getting wasted, but I do enjoy that glass of wine.

TWW.  No symptoms.  I think we may of missed O ... we both travel  Got a bunch of blood tests done, but the doctor hasn't called with results, I will probably follow up today or tomorrow.

Well...timing this month was off - it will be off next month too since i'm traveling the week I "O'" (booo).

I've stopped calling my parents every week.  Every time I call, they ask if I'm pregnant yet, then give a sad face when I said "no".  Then they say, well you shouldn't work so hard (um, okay, are you going to send me money? no, well then...), don't drink (already tried that) etc.

Oldest - my dad was 30, my mom was 22.  Haha, my dad would've had a heart attack if I had a kid at 22

I've stopped calling my parents every week.  Every time I call, they ask if I'm pregnant yet, then give a sad face when I said "no".  Then they say, well you shouldn't work so hard (um, okay, are you going to send me money? no, well then...), don't drink (already tried that) etc.

Ooof. What has gotten into everyone's parents lately? I'm sorry!

Yep, next time they ask I've decided to tell them if they keep on asking I'm NOT going to have kids and they will have to wait for my younger siblings to get married and have kids!

I have a few questions for you ladies. These questions were first posted under the WTO thread in TTGP today:

I'm starting to take B-complex after O to hopefully extend my LP. Has anyone had success extending her LP with this vitamin?

I usually have fertile CM until O, but this month I've had creamy CM the night of O-1 and the day of what I believe is O. Do any of you have creamy CM in your FW? I'm kind of surprised. I usually have great evidence of CM, but this month I haven't seen much. I'm just telling myself that just because I can't see it doesn't mean it's not there. We had sex three days in the FW, and they were all watery or EWCM days even though there wasn't a lot.
