Hi ladies,
just thought I'd stop in an say hi as I haven't really been around much lately.
We had a week away in Australia last week which was nice to have some sunshine and time at the beach. I'm officially obese, which saddens me that I've done this to my body, but am finally in a really good place to do something about it, rather than just thinking about it while eating a block of chocolate and bottle of wine.
I had a sit down chat with my priest this week. He's a wise and kind man, and it was very helpful to talk through the spiritual implications of my experiences with the miscarriage. I wanted to share something he said during our chat because it amused me. I was talking about the experience at the hospital (while trying not to be too graphic) and he in turn talked about his SIL's experiences after a loss (apparently she got very sick) and he said, "you'll have to forgive me I don't know a lot about women, but I do know an awful lot about cows..." At which point, a look of horror crossed his face as what he'd said sunk in and he waited for my reaction. Luckily I'm not easily offended and I thought it was easily one of the best things anyone has said to me in weeks. He was trying so hard to relate, poor man.
Anyway I'm in a really joyful and upbeat place, and working on making some positive changes to how I live my life, and not really thinking about TTC until I've lost some weight (reduce the risk of miscarriage and haemmorhaging plus general longterm health), and just enjoying my two girls and spending time with DH.
I hope all is going well with you guys, I do lurk around and see what's going on, best wishes to you.

First—it takes a strong woman to stand up to their obesity and do something about it. I am very proud of you. I lost a good amount of weight, and then turned into a weight lifter! If you need any advice on calorie tracking, exercise, etc…inbox me.
Secondly—Cows? Hahaha! What the? Wow.
