I posted on FB but I feel like bouncing back to TB for a bit. I never know what to do with 2 websites lol.... anywho..
Robert woke up this morning and I discovered a tiny blister on each pinky toe. He was super gassy last night and was kicking his legs a lot and he must have rubbed them raw...
So I think this means we need to stop swaddling.
Cue substantial fear. Seriously.
Robert is an excellent sleeper. If we swaddle him we can lay him down anywhere when he's slightly groggy and he'll pass out within minutes. Sometimes he needs the pacifier sometimes he doesn't.
I just attempted to put him down for a nap... it took 25 minutes for him to fall asleep and he only stayed asleep for 20 minutes. This is his first nap of the day and he usually sleeps for 90 minutes to 2 hours.
SO! Who has graduated from the swaddle? Words of encouragement? Suggestions?
ETA: adding he's about 3 and a half months if you're mobile.
Re: Graduating from the swaddle...?
Hopefully if you make the jump to go swaddle free your LO will surprise you too!
Just started swaddling for naps - step backwards.
I've got the zip thing on the way to try and compare the two

After his 2/3 am wake time I'm going to see if he'll sleep that long in the pnp. I can't tell if the sleep pattern is due to no swaddle or 4 mo wakeful.
I decided to do cold turkey for a couple of reasons.
1. I don't want to spend the money on something new
2. If he's going to be awake b/c of regression, I might as well go for the gusto and not swaddle either.
