Re-intro (warning living child mentioned)

Hello ladies! I intro'd a couple of months ago, but mostly lurked. I will likely lurk again for a while since I will be on the bench for a bit. I have a beautiful 16 month old little girl and have had two MCs in 7 months. The most recent being confirmed via betas yesterday. I was only 5-6 weeks along with both, but it is still devastating. My OB will not do any additional testing until a third MC happens, which I pray doesn't. They also won't treat me any different if/when another pregnancy happens, unless I start bleeding again.

I am so sorry we are all here in this dark place. I hope to get to know you over the next few months or more. I hope for a lot of you to move onto PgAL before I burn my bench, but if not I hope I can give you as much support as I can!

So sorry you find yourself back here, big ((Hugs)). If you want testing or feel you would like to be monitored more if you get pregnant again you could always seek out a different OB.

I'm sorry for your losses. Welcome back to the boards. You'll find ladies in all stages of TTC, those actively TTC, those benched for medical reasons or TTA for reasons of their own. There's a TTA group that's fairly active with ladies that are mostly benched for medical reasons. I hope the third time is your rainbow and you don't have to undergo all that testing. ((hugs))

So sorry for your losses. After my second m/c, I began seeing a Reproductive Endocrinologist, who ran a variety of tests and provided early care on my most recent pregnancy. Unfortunately, that pregnancy also ended in a loss, but it was nice to have the support early on. Some specialists work on a referral basis only, but mine did not (even though I was referred by my OB). I contacted my insurance to make sure that particular provider was covered (he was), so most of my tests and things have been covered since I'm not considered infertile. I believe my medical codes are termed "loss prevention" or something like that. Take care and best wishes.

@EurydiceNymph‌, I'm so sorry you're back here too! I hoped you would still be in March '15! I'm not entirely sure I want to have the testing done just yet. I think if I have any issues with my next AF I may check with them to make sure there is no residual tissue that could cause issue later down the line. But for now I will follow my Ob's advice. I've had no issue with them, and I've been going to that office since I was 18 for normal Gyn appts. Thank you for all the sympathy!

Thank you @Frenchteachermama‌! I may join after my vacation next week! We were planning to tell DH's mom on vacation and my mom before we left so next week will be hard on me.
