Here is a video I watched a couple of weeks ago.  June 25th to be exact.  Wow!

In the time since, I have just felt so renewed, calm, confident, and peaceful about my TTC journey (2+ years now).

I highly recommend this for ANYone, even those of you who aren't especially into the Hippie-Woo-Woo (as my family lovingly refers to some of my ideas) stuff.

I cried when I realized there were things about myself as a woman that I needed to really think on and reconnect with to get my body on board for this mission of making a baby.

The video does drag a little in some places, but please stick it out.  At least it's free...  

Good luck to all and let me know how this video makes you feel.  I personally took several pages of notes while watching and would love a good convo

It seems like it has good tips for those who are looking to conceive naturally and who want some spiritual and mental healing when dealing with all this IF crap.  And there are ladies that fit those categories on here...but unfortunately a lot of us are also well past this (or we include it in addition to our treatments) and need help from an RE to get pregnant.

I know you've posted a couple of times before, so it may not have been your intent, but the post comes across a little spammy.

FYI: "Molly's own personal seven year fertility journey ended joyfully with the birth of her twins who were conceived through IVF..." so yeah, it is relevant. I find your presumptions about this video, that you didn't watch, and myself (having ASSISTED cycles) quite rude. I'm going to do every last little thing I can to help this process along, as I thought was the case for other women here, hence sharing this video that was ridiculously eye-opening for me. Spam? Exactly how should one go about sharing any bits of outside info that they find helpful without seeming "spammy"? This video is free, it is full of interesting info, what is spammy about that? So much for trying to open a dialogue about alternative fertility aids.

@LaurenNK - Nothing that @gsancho said was rude. She pointed out that the video could be helpful to folks but that many of us are beyond that point. A dialogue can still be had, it's just that many of us may not be interested based on where we are at in our journeys.

I definitely wasn't making assumptions about you. I just know some things have lately been marked as spam, even if a user has had other posts in the past. It is more likely to come across spammy when there are videos and links - it's just been my observation over the last 2 years on this board. So I didn't want you to be shocked if this happened. That was all. And no, I didn't see an hour and a half video, I just saw the first ten minutes.

@stacylh24 "those folks" are who I would love to have a discussion with. I am not understanding why you feel the need to comment if this topic is of zero interest? I just want to talk about this video with like-minded folks, instead I am being criticized and told that my feelings are invalid. This is exactly why I just created a private group. No worries, I'll not be slowing your scrolling through the boards with topics that aren't finely tuned to your personal tastes.

@LaurenNK - None of us said your feelings aren't valid. All feelings are valid, no matter what they are. I think everyone here would agree with that. I responded in an effort to support a regular poster on this board.

Your feelings are valid, and I was not criticizing you. I have several books about natural and healthy ways to improve fertility which I've mentioned in past posts when people ask. So there is value to what you posted. I mostly wanted to note that it came across a little spammy and not everyone may respond to your request to let you know how the video made you feel - partly b/c some ladies are past the point of learning more about these options, and partly b/c of how the post came across to me. Then again, it was early morning for me, so I could just have had a mental lapse in terms of how I interpreted your post.

@laurenNK - I don't think anyone has said anything rude to you. I do think you are immediately going on the defense for no reason and being extremely rude to the other ladies who have responded. @gsancho took the words right out of my mouth. This post comes across extremely spammy. That's not to say that you cannot post things that may interest some ladies, and may not interest others - it happens all the time. But just the way the post came across, and then your extreme defensiveness to all responses, has made it seem even more spammy. Good luck.

@LaurenNK‌ I was planning on watching this later tonight as per your recc. I didn't think it came across as spammy.

However.... There was ZERO need to be so defensive and nasty to @gsancho‌ for stating her opinion. She did so in a very respectful way. And she is entitled to her opinion, as are each and every one of us.
We all have different opinions and views here. We need to support each other for expressing them- rather than getting defensive and angry. No one here is the enemy, despite any disagreements.

I agree with Ketchup!  So I never really saw the OP as spammy.  Granted I haven't been on the board as long as some of you have but I genuinely thought she was just trying to share useful information to those that are interested.  Just my opinion  

OP - I probably won't watch the whole video (just because I don't have the attention span these days!).  But I appreciate the idea of "nourishing mind/body/spirit" during the 3T process.  Acupuncture, yoga and meditation have all been a big part of that for me.  Meditation in particular is something I wish I'd made a habit of sooner!  Today I found a fertility guided meditation and it really did help me relax and bring my stress level down a few notches.  Will watching a video like the one OP shared or me doing guided meditation help on its own to get me pregnant?  No.  But I do believe that doing something like that (to keep stress levels at bay) can only impact fertility in a positive way.

I had no problem watching the first 30 seconds of this link earlier today and deciding it wasn't for me, and I didn't feel the need to comment with my feeling that it was certainly a "pushy" sounding post if not exactly spammy.

But even if someone was out of line to share their perspective of the video based on their understanding of our group (which I personally don't think they were), you have to understand that we use those kinds of harsh words to each other on this board, and especially that kind of sarcasm. So I would like to share my perspective based on my personal understanding of this group, which is that by escalating the heat of the discussion so quickly you may alienate even those who really got a lot out of that video.

@iPutKetchupOnKetchup OP never responded, so I guess she's fine now.  

The other day on IF, someone posted pictures and a link and it was flagged as spam.  Knowing she's posted before, I didn't want her to be surprised if it caused a problem, since the poster on IF got very upset and caused drama on the other board.  But obviously, that's exactly what I ended up doing anyways.

I apologize to everyone if I jumped to conclusions and spoke out of place

@gsancho I totally agree with Ketchup you have nothing to apologize for...you were not and I have never read anything from you that is even remotely rude. You going through a lot right now don't worry about this and again nothing to apologize for.
