Letrozole Question

Ok, so my new Dr switched me to Letrozole and I started yesterday (CD3), but I was supposed to take 2 pills (5mg total) and I only took one. It wasn't until tonight when I looked in the bottle there were more than 4 left and I was like "whhaaat?"  In all honesty it was reeaally late at night, we had just driven a 4 hr round trip and got home near midnight (and I had been up since 5am) so I wasn't paying attention at all... So my questioin is...I took 2 tonight and will continue with 2 through CD7, but should I take the odd pill on CD8 or just forget about it...

Visit with OB/GYN February 2013

Ultrasound confirms PCOS, OB/GYN suggests Clomid

Due to a bad beginning in 2013 didn't start Clomid right away

Clomid +TI August 2013 – BFN

Another break, 2013 was a really bad year for us...

Clomid +TI January 2014 – BFN

Clomid + TI February 2014 – BFN

Follow up with OB/GYN, tests Thyroid – LOW

HSG planned for March 2014

Clomid +IUI #1 planned also for March 2014

    I was told that the Letrozole could be taken 2 pills at night, or morning and night. So I wouldn't worry about it too much....

    I would call your nurse to see what they recommend. My guess is to take the last pill, since it's not unheard of to take Femara through CD9, but also you wouldn't want to go too long and mess something up, so I'd get their advice first. :)

    I agree with @BunnyBerry‌. My RE also told me I could take them one at night and one in the morning or 2 at night! Call your nurse and ask! Good luck!
