Nursery help

I have this tiny room and I made crib bedding for the crib

The pictures are the crib and then the teething bumper which has a blue trim and the 8 geometric ties I'm adding..

I'm stumped at what type of quilt to make for the bed and what pattern. I can make pretty much anything but I don't want it too busy if it won't look right but still coordinating

I'm putting the alphabet on the wall above his bed and stumped what to do on the other wall too

Hit me up

I am going to use the fabric but I have no clue what to do.. Haha I can't place what it will look like

I guess long run it doesn't matter since they don't use it in the crib

    Thanks

  • Oh my goodness! How lovely!! :)

You could look for fabrics that have navy, white, and light green for your quilt. :)

  • Jealous of your skillz.... I keep trying to sew! But I'm just not very good at it.

I like the suggestion of mostly white with the squares!

@noellemari‌ if really is about taking your time and stopping when your tired. I get sloppy when I'm tired :)

    One piece at a time..

I am also liking those mainly white with the fabric squares

Decals fall right off our walls bc they are textured.. We tried that with baby 1. They are like 1/2 inch letters above the bed, they won't be going anywhere.. dH is crazy about that stuff

And the quilt will probably be a little bigger than crib size.
I was thinking I might hang it on the other wall or put it on the twin bed laying across it

  • I like the style. My fave pattern you are using is the bed skirt one.

I have no advice on the quilt
  • I don't have advice, but everything you've done looks great. Nice job!

Haha! :p I thought this would just take me a little bit of time like no problem. It has been way more tedious than I would have thought which is funny since I have made plenty of quilts... It just doesn't look like it would take very long but man it's more work than I anticipated!

  • You are very talented! Unfortunately, I don't have any ideas on a quilt.

  • I am going to be making LO's bedding as well. I opted not to do a quilt because, as PP
Has already said, it probably won't be used. For extra decoration I'm making 3 small pillows to put in the crib when LO is not using it and take out when she is.

  • Don't have specific advice but had to say I'm sure whatever you pick will look fantastic!! Your obviously very talented! Lucky baby! :)
  • So cute!!! I plan on starting my LOs bedding next week. Hopefully it turns out as cute IRL as it is in my head!

  • Turned out so cute! I think a graphic quilt with matching solid colors would look awesome with it. Like this:

    Oh I like that
  • LOVE THEM.

I love your mix of patterns, and especially am crazy about the green polka dot. I don't have much advice, but I just wanted to say how lovely it all is!!!
