Charting my temps?

Hi Ladies!

I'm new to this board. This is our first month TTGP since I've lost weight. Last time, I was charting my temps.. this time, I'm not sure how I'll be able to do that.

I currently work the overnight shift, and have trouble sleeping. I know you are supposed to temp at the same time each day.. or close to it. So if I'm waking up at all different times - 2pm, 5pm, 9pm.. or 7-8am on days I don't work.. is there a way I can make temping work for me? or should I just forget about temping until I'm back to a normal shift? How do you girls who work shift work do it?

Thank you for any advice :)

Re: Charting my temps?

  • Just temp when you wake up. Do that for a cycle or three and see how it goes. You won't know if it will work or not unless you try it and see what happens.

  • I work all shifts rotating a week at a time. With a 7 days on, 7 days off schedule. I temp whenever I wake up the first time after going to sleep, and I've been able to see a shift post-O.

    I say go for it.
