I know some of us answered this in the "Ask Anything" thread, but there are still a lot of you that I'm curious about...is there a story behind why you picked your screen name?
DH and I took an Italian class in advance of our trip to Italy (where he ended up proposing). We used to jokingly call each other "dear" and after that trip (4 years ago) we started calling each other caro and cara (the Italian version of dear). The term of endearment stuck, the Italian however, not so much.
And Fern is a nickname for my last name.

I love to write (I have the Egyptian hieroglyphic for scribe tattooed on my foot). Back in the ICQ days of messaging I wanted a word that meant writer but in a different language. I randomly picked Dutch . . .
Unfortunately it's misspelled. There is an extra i in there. But I just kept it and went with it and use it for a few different screen names, even today.
A friend gave me the nickname Wildflower years ago...unfortunately the name never stuck and we lost touch after I moved but I've been using this handle for a lot of forums for over a decade...it describes me pretty well and I love it! 75 because I was born in 1975!! WOOT! WOOT!
I was called curly from infancy because I had a mop of curly hair. That drunkenly became curly fries In my teen years, a la Arby's. 85 is my birth year, and 1 is because apparently curlyfries85 is a common screen name LOL
So once upon a time I was in this group called the Deadly Viper Assassination Squad. I broke up with my main man Bill and tried to start over, but they caught up with me. Turns out, I'm still a pretty badass assassin after teaching myself how to walk again. I got Bill pretty good.
The number 19 has special significance to me. It's been my go to number since I was 14.
My husband is a dbg (dirty boat guy) and I'm his wife most people don't know what dbg's are, and we don't have real names on Facebook because of his job. I felt it was private enough!

Initials for my 1st name, my last name & dh's 1st name followed by the year we got married.
Most people assume it's my initials. I included dh on purpose as I found TB while looking for loss support & answers...I didn't want to be too obvious, although my sn really isn't that clever either

This is neat! I've always wondered where people's screen names originated.
My nickname is Annie (derived from my first name) and DH calls me "Roo". My dad has also called me "AnnieRoo" since I was a child. I guess someone else is AnnieRoo on here, so I added the 13- my birthdate.
I have hiked thousands of miles (quite literally), both in the USA and abroad. You might say its a passion of mine! Fun fact: though I love to hike and walk, I loathe running.
Actually, though, it started years ago. I hate when you have to provide your name & address on various random websites to get an account/ reward points/ general access, grrr. So I started using Nunya Bennis instead of Jane Doe or something along those lines. That is all.
I love reading all of these! As I said in another thread...Dimples is another nickname of mine because I have big dimples and 01/01 is our dating anniversary. I think I had another variation of a "dimples" SN from the knot, but I started a new account when I was pregnant with DD. I can't remember why.
I have always loved the name Autumn and it's my favorite season. I also love that early fall snow where it's nice and light and just barely covers the colored leaves. When I was A LOT younger I had always said I would name my daughter Autumn Rose or Autumn Snow and of course my friends had to say I was going to have a douche baby lol.. I still love the name Autumn though :P
~Nov14 Moms November Siggy Challenge: CELEBRATION!! ~
Mine is my first initial of my first name and Pink was my maiden name and I just added a 'y' to it and the number 9 is my favorite number. Not very exciting!
Mine is from when we had the old phones when you spell my first name without pushing each number more than once (hope that makes sense). This is what was typed in my DH's phone for the longest time. Jatpa= Laura and 003 is my fav. Number. I use it as a gamer name or give it to anyone as a fake name.
