Can I just talk about idiots for minute?

I'm an assistant principal. We have a big position open and the principal asked me to participate in the interviews on Thursday to help make a decision. I emailed the human resource rep who is on the panel to get the schedule so I'd be able to have a plan as to when to pump because I've heard nothing about how many interviews there are, when they start, lunch break, etc. Rather than send me the schedule, this jack @$$ calls the principal to say he is concerned about me being on the panel if I can't be in all the interviews or if I have to leave in the middle of one. No, dumb @$$, I just want to know when they start, when they end, and when we have lunch. Like I asked, just send me the schedule so that I can have a plan.

Isn't HR supposed to know better?

    Yep. I basically explained that all I wanted was a schedule to be able to have a plan & that I had no intent to miss part of the interviews. He called and apologized.
