    All finished with my Clomid. Took my last dose on Saturday. I will say I've had very minimal side effects (so far), and I am very thankful for that!

    I'm supposed to start testing with OPKs tonight (I actually tested last night bc I had what seemed like EWCM, but it was -) and then supposed to call my RE when I get a +, and go in the next morning for IUI.

    Right now I'm just feeling a little antsy that things are just sort if up in the air. Just want to have my IUI behind me! It's hard not knowing when it will even happen.

    Wishing all you ladies lots of luck! FX for lots of BFPs from this IUI group.

    EDIT: I forgot the QOTW! I'm going to go with legs as long as my fingers. I feel like that would be more functional than the other option, lol.

    Bonus: Would you rather go way back in time or way into the future?

    Last week I had 4 follicles in the 9-11mm range at my first monitoring appointment. I went back a couple of days later and I only had one mature follicle. I was pretty bummed about that, as I was hoping I would have a better response to injects. However, I guess I'll take one mature follicle over being cancelled for over-stimming. I only used 600iu of Follistim though, so I think if we need to do another cycle, we could stand to be a lot more aggressive. 

    QOTW: I think I would rather have finger-sized legs. Having legs-sized fingers seems really inconvenient. 

    @BlueJoan Out of invisible or mind-reading, I think I would pick invisible. I think reading minds would be tempting, but it would probably cause me to get my feelings hurt a lot!

    I am technically still in the 2ww, but I tested this morning at 12 dpiui and got a BFN.  I'm starting to get all my usual AF symptoms so I'm going to assume it's correct and wait it out until I can call the RE and get started on the next cycle.

    QOTW: Uhhhh....this is a really tough one.  I guess I'd want fingers as long as my legs.  I could reach behind the sofa to get the remote when we drop it.  

    Bonus Points: Would you rather visit any country in the world if you could never come back home or never leave the town you currently live in?

    @BlueJoan - I'd rather be invisible.  If anyone had mean thoughts about me I would probably go on a rampage and wind up in jail.  :)

    @kmdecoux I hope it's just too early! Good luck! I'm laughing at the image of you reaching behind the sofa with your looooong fingers though. I think I might rather stay in my town forever (though I would hate it), because I would miss my family if I lived in another country! (Unless I could take them all with me??)

    Moving on to IVF. (Why we're moving on to IVF)

    IVF#1 (w/ICSI): BCP 9/9-9/23. Gonal-F, Ganirelix, Low-dose HCG (antagonist protocol). 41R/35M/32F... 2 transferred on 10/14, 14 frosties! On cabergoline to help avoid OHSS. BFN, possibly because of 90% drop in estrogen and progesterone a few days after ET.
    FET#1: Transferring 2 on January 8. BFP! beta#1 (1/17): 408, beta#2 (1/20): 1310, first u/s scheduled 2/5

    Hi everyone, 9dpiui in my 2WW....sooooo brutal! I would go for legs as long as my fingers...practically no shaving needed! Sweet!

    IUI #1 was a BFN, and AF came on Thursday. I am on to iui #2, and my monitoring appointment is Saturday with a tentative iui date of 7/21. Trying to stay positive!

    I think I would rather have fingers the size of my legs. At least I could still walk and drag my huge leg sized fingers around :)

    I would much rather be invisible than read minds. I don't really want to know what other people are thinking most of the time.

    I would probably rather stay in my hometown forever than go somewhere and never come back. I like to travel, but I am usually ready to come back home within a week or so.

    Bonus: Would you rather live in an extremely hot climate with no break from the heat forever or in an extremely cold climate with no break from winter weather forever?

    January 2010 SA results: Count 16 million, Motility 40%, Morphology 2%
    January 2010- Surprise BFP! DS born 10/1/2010 :)

    September 2013 Repeat SA: Count= 1.7 million, Motility= 24%, Morphology= 2%
    November 6th 1st Appointment with RE: diagnosed with severe MFI
    Testing to try to determine a cause & possible treatment for MFI
    CD 3 blood work for me. RE does not want to repeat my HSG/lap at this point,
    but may want to before moving forward with any fertility treatments.
    After seeing the uro, DH is currently taking lots of supplements and clomid to try to boost his count. We will have a repeat SA in February to see if it works.
    Follow up SA numbers are: Count= 4 million, Motility= 40%, Morphology= 1%
    Uro wants us to have another follow up SA 5/9 to see if we see further improvement than we are back to the RE to make a game plan.

    SA 5/9/2014 Count: 12 Million, Motility: 60%, and Morphology 2%. We will be doing iui #1 in late June

    IUI #1 6/28 clomid + ovidrel, post wash count 3 million total sperm= BFN

    IUI # 2 7/21 clomid+ ovidrel. post wash count 900,000 total sperm= BFN

    IVF planned for early November- cancelled due to cyst

    December IVF #1- 22 eggs, 20 mature,16 fertilized

    12/9 Transferred 1 4AA Blast, 6 frosties

    I would much rather have fingers as long as my legs! LOL. I have a board game called Zobmondo that involves asking similar crazy scenario questions (some quite raunchy). I love it!

    I'm on IUI #3. 5dpiui and I feel nada! Beta on 7/24. I'm terrified of having too much hope for this cycle. But I can't help it, I'm hopeful! I never thought I would have 4 mature follicles (especially on Clomid which I was convinced wouldn't work for me). It just seems like that is a good sign. But who knows. In other news, I'm relieved I don't have any OHSS symptoms yet (something my RE was concerned about).

    Him - Borderline low sperm count (correcting through Fertility Blend supplement)

    First appointment with RE 10/2013.  
    April 2014 - Clomid 100mg CD3-7.  HCG shot CD10 IUI #1 done on 4/12/14 (CD12) ....BFN
    May 2014 - Break cycle to repeat saline sonogram and re-group.  Travel to Kauai 5/7-5/12 (Yay!!)
    June 2014 - Clomid 150mg CD4-8.  HCG shot CD14.  IUI#2 done on 6/9 and 6/10 (CD15-16) w/ Prometrium suppositories during TWW .... BFN
    July 2014 - Clomid 150mg CD3-7.  Ultrasound CD12 - 4 mature follies! HCG trigger shot CD12 AM.  IUI#3 on CD13 w/ Prometrium suppositories during TWW ....BFN
    July 2014 - Repeat ultrasound done to measure size of fibroid - 8x9cm (the size of a grapefruit!) Surgery referral made.
    August 2014 - MRI done which revealed 2 fibroids: a 13x15cm fibroid as well as an 8x7cm one.  Super freak out mode over surgery plan.  OB-GYN/surgeon said surgery would most likely have to be a laparotomy (open abdominal surgery)
    August 2014 - After a 2nd opinion, plan to take Lupron x 2 months to shrink fibroids then laparoscopic/robotic myomectomy.  Surgery date is set for Nov 21st!  
    November 2014 - Robotic myomectomy done (2 large fibroids removed, mild endo found).  Benched x 3 months

    IUI #4 was a BFN, so we're onto #5. I'm starting femara tonight and have my mid-cycle ultrasound scheduled for next Tuesday.

    I would much rather have fingers as long as my legs. I don't know why though, the idea of both freaks me out!

    I would much rather be invisible than read minds. I'm already self-conscious about things and the ability to read minds would only make that worse.

    I would rather stay in my hometown forever than leave and never come back.

    I would rather be hot which is really ironic considering I live in MN and it's always COLD!!! Fun fact, the high today is only 70 with a low of 56 which is something like 20 degree colder than average. Don't get me wrong, I'll take 70 over 90+ any day, but when you spend over half the year with snow on the ground I want my summer dang it!

    On a lovely break for lap and hysteroscopy and cervix dilation. I'm sure the recovery is going to be a dream. And when we saw the RE in January after 5 years of TTTC, the goal was to get our first IUI in sometime the following school year. So guess everything's going my way. Who knew IF was such an affirming experience?
    • Finger-length legs (wouldn't mind life in a wheelchair...but not interested in being a finger freak)
    • ALL THE COUNTRIES! (sorry, you've just defined my personal heaven)
    • Invisibility (oh, the possibilities! And what people think is probably quite depressing)
    • Cold, please. (There's only so many clothes to take off, but cuddling and cocooning in fur and fluff for the rest of my life sounds like a good deal)
    Would you rather have no more med side effects, or no more blood draws?

    @Bunnyberry - I'd go with no more med side effects!  I don't even have that many med side effects right now but if I end up moving on to injectables, I would rather have no more SE's from them than avoid blood draws.  Blood draws don't bother me that much surprisingly!

    Still in the 2ww. Going to poas on Friday and Saturday. Good luck to everyone cycling

    Official diagnosis: Unexplained IF. I am 32. I have low ovarian reserve (low AMH), and poor egg quality. I've also been diagnosed with mild glandular developmental arrest (lining problems, detected with EFT).

    We are using open ID donor sperm. IUIs #1-7=BFN. IVF September 2014 antagonist protocol, 8R,5M,3F, 5 day transfer of 1 morula = BFN. IVF#2 planned for January 2015 (antagonist protocol + HGH).

    Went in today for my baseline ultrasound for IUI lucky #3 and to my surprise I have three 17mm follicles. My RE tested my estrogen and they are not left over from last cycle or cysts, they are the real deal. How? Apparently my body ignored the progesterone and even though my period was delayed CD31 (literally my period stopped yesterday), my body acted as if I got my period at CD26 which is normal for me, so these follicles have been brewing for the past 10 days. I was told not to take my clomid and to call the RE when I get a "real" period, unless something magical happens and I get pregnant with no meds. So long story short I am benched for the month.

    IUI #2 B2B 6/23 and 6/24, three mature eggs and 130 million sperm! FX this is the month!  BFN 7/8

    3rd cycle benched due to cysts - TI with OPK tests -  BFN

    3rd mediated cycle: Clomid+Trigger+TI  (three follies left side, one on right as usual....what the hell right ovary get it together and produce some damn follicles!) 7DPO progesterone level 43 with NO suppositories YAY for a natural strong ovulation. Beta canceled started spotting 13DPO - Third time is not a CHARM! 14 day cycle WTF! Everything looks normal - RE wants to start injectables next cycle so this cycle I'm benched

    Officially benched until March....but still plan on trying the baking soda douche due to my excessive and thick CM

    I'm in the 2WW but based on sperm count, it's most likely a bust. Doing one more IUI to see if numbers improve. If not, we will have to investigate MFI and move on to IVF. Annoying because we "fixed" my problem and MFI wasn't even a concern until the day of IUI.

    I go in for bloodwork today and another HCG shot.  I almost completely forgot about the appointment, but looked at my calendar before bed last night and reminded myself.  My hot flashes have been much worse this cycle.  I get through them, but its just making this summer suck because I don't want to be outside at all.  I also want to eat all the things, thankfully, my husband is not judging me for eating an entire bag of mini twix for breakfast.  lol

    QOTW: I'm gonna have to go with legs as long as my fingers, if I went with the reverse, I wouldn't be able to do my job! lol

    Hi all,

    I am still in the 2WW with my IUI#2. Today is 14dpiui and no news as of yet. I did POAS when I got home from work yesterday and it was BFN. Waiting to see when AF arrives. Considering the lower back pain I have, AF should be right around the corner.

    QOTW: I believe I would rather have fingers as long as my legs. I have short fingers and it just wouldn't look quite right for my body. :)

    My would you rather question: Would you rather be stuck on an island with Channing Tatum or George Clooney?????

    I'm on a break this month as I was out of town for cycle day 1 and needed the mental break. Since iui#3 was a bfn I'm deciding what my next step will be. I may try for iui#4 or move to ivf - guess I need to make a decision soon! :-/

    IUI #1 was this morning! Had three good follies (17.8, 17.4, 17.39), and 22 million swimmers post-wash. I'm going in again tomorrow for IUI #1.2, and doc says we should "have relations" (his words, not mine lol) on Saturday night. I took today, tomorrow and Monday off work and DH and I are taking a little weekend getaway to Vegas. :) I'm feeling so hopeful!

    I'm sorry to everyone getting bfns. And good luck to everyone in the wait!

    I just had IUI # 2 this afternoon. We thought it would be tomorrow or Sunday, based on my follicle size on Monday. I didn't get any positive opks yesterday (I took 3, all negative), so they took my blood this morning to see if we'd have to use hcg again. Around 2 they called and were like "Your LH is really high, can you guys rush over her? Like now?" Luckily we were able to run right over. Everything looked really good from the RE's point of view (good sample from MH, my cervical canal was nicely open). FX!

    QOTW: I think I'd prefer arms as long as my legs. I'm fairly tall, but it'd be nice to improve my reach a little more :)

    I just had my first IUI today! I had one follicle that was measuring 30mm, 2 16mm ones and a few measuring 11! 

    I'm officially in the 2ww and can test on Friday, August 1st =)

    Hey all, trying to avoid starting my own thread for this. Do any of my fellow IUI ladies temp their BBT?

    I had B2B IUIs on Thursday/Friday and planning on also having sex tonight per doctors orders. I had a +OPK on Wednesday evening, and usually always O the day after or two days after a positive (based on approximately 10 months of charting). I was expecting a temp rise this morning to confirm, but my temp dropped. I am staying at a hotel and we had the AC blasting, but I'm really worried that we may end up not having the greatest timing.

    Any advice? Tips? Could Clomid fuck with my temps? Or am I overthinking this?
