Sorry I was a little late this morning, I did not write up the post yesterday like I normally do.

AFM:  I am FINALLY feeling movement, at least I think I am!  ha... We are still patiently awaiting the arrival of the crib and I found a upholstered glider that I thought was nice for under 200.00 I was shocked!!  So overall I am having a much better week than last week.

qotw:  I meet him on my first day at the company I work for.  I knew he was the one right then... it took him another 5 years to realize it tho!   He proposed on Christmas Eve in Christmas lights, there was a sign that spelled out it white likes, will you marry me and he was on one knee.  So sweet.

Thanks for the welcome! So excited to be here. No appt updates. Next visit is 7/29. This weekend we are going to look at cribs and nursery furniture. Id like to look before we commit. Im turning 32 on Saturday- aghhh! Haha.

QOTW: I met Justin years before we started dating. We had a bunch of mutal friends. We've been dating for 9 years now and married for 3. On his 30th birthday I threw him a huge party with family and friends at our house. After he blew out the candles, I went into the kitchen to grab servingware and he stopped me in the hallway asking for his present. I thought he was being dirty and told him it was inappropriate with a house full of people, he died laughing then dropped to one knee. It was really sweet. All of the people I would rush to call and tell were already there yet it was a private moment in the hall. Kudos Justin!

Ashris13 I'm lucky to have a husband and doctor who are very supportive of my continuing to run through the pregnancy. My husband knows that I know my body and what I'm capable of and he trusts me with those decisions. He does often remind me to eat and hydrate before I leave though because he knows I forget that stuff sometimes. My name is deceiving though. I was born and raised in Texas but am not currently living there. DH and I live in the Mississippi Delta right now (and it's awful and I miss Texas so much!)

15 weeks...I'm having a hard time wrapping my brain around it. It's weird because it's not like it's halfway or anything but to me it just sounds so far along. I've been so scared throughout this pregnancy and I always felt like 15/16 weeks could be a breathing point. I think I felt it yesterday!!!! My cat was laying on my stomach last night and right where we had found a heartbeat with the doppler at my last US, I could feel this weird sensation. Of course its early and I can't be sure but I'm just gonna tell myself that's what it was because it was pretty freakin cool. 

QOTW: I met my DH at a bar called the Texas Hall of Fame. We were both there with mutual friends and we ended up dancing the night away. Then he came home with me (oooppss) and we've been together ever since. Been together for 8 years and married 6 in November. My proposal was around Christmas, we were exchanging gifts at the house just the two of us before a family thing and he had my ring hidden under another gift inside the box. It was cute but I can't describe it all cute. LOL

@Ashris13 Glad you're finally feeling some movement, that's exciting!!

I had an appt on Friday and everything sounded good, and yes today is v-day!  And we signed up for child birth classes in September and have quite an accumulation of baby stuff now, so it's definitely feeling real.  My next appt is in August for the glucose test, blah.  

QOTW- We met through a mutual friend, dated for 4+ years, engaged for a year, and have now been married for 4+ years.  He proposed outside on the street after dinner out one night, down on one knee and all, it was raining a little, it felt like my own personal movie moment :-)

Our A/S went great last week!  The baby is measuring perfectly and right on track.  We are still team green although I was tempted to take a peek.  The baby was actually pretty modest though and the tech said she didn't get a good look at it either.  DH felt his first definite kick last week and I'm beginning to feel them more regularly, which is always exciting!

QOTW:  DH actually grew up across the street from my college roommate.  After we graduated college (12 years ago - holy cow!) , I relocated to my roommate's home state for more job opportunities and got a job here.  I met DH a few months later since they were still friends and we've been together ever since!  Four years later, DH proposed a month after we moved into the house we built together.  It was a random Thursday night and very unexpected!  I was downstairs in the kitchen and DH "fell" down the stairs.  When I ran around the corner to make sure he was ok, I tried to help him up, but instead he took my hand and got on one knee.  It was sweet and special because we put everything into that house!  We celebrated with our best friends afterwards.  We've been married for almost 6 years.

A/S went great! Everything appears good and we still have a healthy boy and a girl. I was excited that they were able to get some 3D/4D action of the twins and we have it all on CD. Was harder to get a shot of our girl, however, since her brother kept sticking his feet in her face. 

Still waiting for more clear, obvious movement. I did find out I have an anterior placenta, so that could be part of the reason I'm not feeling more now.

Nursery painting and boarding is d-o-n-e and cribs are set up as of Sunday (mattresses and dresser to be delivered this week). Still trying to decide on a glider. My dad wants to buy us one, but I want something comfortable and the very cheapest I can find that I like is $300. I feel bad for asking him to spend the money. 

Anyway, I'm including a pic of the "finished" nursery (guest appearances of our Boxer and the Half Dane). Sorry lighting is horrible! 

ETA QOTW: DH and I met through a mutual acquaintance. Unfortunately, I had my head in my ass and would go on a date with DH and then run back to my idiot ex boyfriend. Eventually DH and I decided to try to hang out as friends (since dating wasn't working) and during this time I got to know him and realized he was the one. I finally dropped the ex for good, moved in with DH a couple months later and we were engaged in another couple months (we planned a year-long engagement though). Everyone was worried that I was pregnant (ha! looking back on that now), but we just knew it was right. Plus, he's the only one who could put up with my BS :-)

@ashris - so happy you started to feel some movement!!  I'm feeling it a little bit more consistently - usually about 30mins to 1 hour after I eat, and only if I'm at work at my desk or relaxing on the couch.  If I'm up and moving around, it's hard to feel anything.  Darn anterior placenta!

My A/S last Wednesday went well and our little girl is not modest (she was the same way at our elective u/s at 18 weeks).  Daddy is going to have his hands full!!  Everything was measuring well, although it took the tech awhile to figure out where the cord was attached - not exactly in the middle of the placenta, but not at the edge, so that is good.  My sister, who is due 8 days after me, is having her gender reveal party this Saturday so I'm excited to see if our baby girl will have a girl or boy cousin.  I rooting girl for girl, but either way, the babies will be so close in age.

QOTW: DH and I met at the gym.  Before IVF, I was a little gym and running obsessed and he works at a gym (well, oversees the training at 10 of them now) so it was a perfect meeting spot.  He proposed about 1 1/2 years later on NYE at the hotel we were staying at and it was all a surprise as his mom came in town (I didn't know this) and secretly decorated the room with roses, candles and champagne.  I was shocked!!

Hey everyone,

I'll be 15 weeks in 2 days.  Wow!  Listened to the heartbeat last night with the doppler.  Our next appt is tomorrow morning with the NP who we haven't met yet.  We are also doing our pregnancy announcement with a photographer this upcoming Monday.  Gotta a couple of cute props   Need to shop this weekend for announcement outfits. 

My energy has finally come back, not quite to normal, but much better.  Been using it to get house ready for baby, this week I'm deep cleaning and organizing.  Going to start getting painting supplies together this weekend for baby room! 

QOTW:  Hubby and I met at a house party on a couch drunk....classy right...lol.  We have been together almost 8 years and married for 5 years.

Hi all- nothing new to report. Still no movement and still throwing up once each morning... Anatomy scan is Monday. I'm feeling slacker- ish as we haven't even started on the girls' room!!! Haven't registered and don't ave any names in contention!

QOTW: DH and I met on Match.com. I was 33 and he was 39---we've never gone a single day without speaking since we met 7+ yrs ago. We've been married for 4.1 yrs. He proposed in the North End of Boston (Italian restaurant section) on a park bench (in February... It was a bit cold!).

I had my anatomy scan on Friday.  All of the measurements they got were good, but baby boy wasn't very cooperative, so I need to go back this Friday for another check.  I certainly don't mind another chance to see him, but it would have been nice to get it done and know everything was fine.  I'm feeling good, but my energy is still low... hoping that comes back soon.

QOTD: We met at work.  We don't work together anymore, which is a good thing.  It was somewhat scandalous because he was a manager and I wasn't.  Even though he wasn't my direct manager, it was still frowned upon.  We tried to hide it for a while, but eventually it came out.  He proposed very sweetly at home.  We had been talking about it for a while, but the actual proposal was a complete surprise, I didn't see it coming at all.  It was a nice intimate moment with just the two of us.

Hi, ladies. As always, thanks for the great check in @ashris13. The dresser, changing table topper, and crib mattress were all delivered yesterday! The crib will be delivered next week. The only thing we have left to order is the glider but it is currently out of stock so I am waiting for it to become available again.

My MIL Is paying to have hard wood floors put in the nursery so we met with the hard wood floor buy this morning to pick out woods and get an exact estimate. Once the floors are done we can paint and then put together the furniture! AH!

I also got her car seat last week and we put it in both cars this weekend to make sure it fit. It is all starting to feel SO real.

I can definitely feel her move and wiggle. I zumba 4-5 times a week and the other day during zumba I could feel something so I stopped in case something was wrong. Then I realized it was just her dancing along with me. LOL. She is definitely a mover and a shaker. We will have our hands full!

Next apt is the anatomy scan with the OB on July 22. I assume it will be pretty much the same thing we did a few weeks ago with the MFM but I am not complaining. I love any chance to check up on her.

QOTW: DH and I met in law school. He proposed on the beach in Puerto Penasca, Mexico at sunset. It was pretty romantic, I must admit.

 I am 16w 6d today! We had our 16 week appointment last week and it went very well. I talked to my OB about my anxiety and she helped me feel more normal about it. We also had my first cervical check and mine was measuring at 52mm! I had a cervical surgery a couple of years ago, so my OB was concerned with it being too short. Hopefully, it stays nice and long! I have another check at 20 weeks during our a/s scan. We also got another u/s of the baby during our appointment. He/She is quite the mover! I could watch this little sweetie all day long! Our a/s is Aug 7th, so I'll have to wait until then I suppose.

My DH and I met at a New Year's Eve party. Our friends introduced us while we were still in college. It was a long distance relationship for the first couple of years, but we made it! Dh proposed to me one night after going to a bar. He'd planned this amazing weekend out of town and I was sure he'd propose while we were away. He didn't. The night we got back, we went to a bar, and got way too drunk. When we got home from the bar, I started crying and crying because I was sure he'd never propose to me (we'd been together for over 4 years, I was 23 and this seemed like the end of the world!) and blah, blah, drunk blah. Well, he pulled out the ring and proposed right there, in bed, while we were both naked, probably just to shut me up! In reality, he had taken the ring with him on our weekend away, but he thought he'd had it sized too small (Read: He thought my finger was too fat) so he chickened out. Such a romantic story! Eleven years later, we're very happily married

Holy Cow I was so busy at work last week, I didn't get a chance to update. 

17w3d - I had my 16 week appointment last Thursday.  Baby's h/b was 150 and they did all my blood work for spina bifida and all the prelim blood work they do. 

DH & I met at a concert.  We had a few ups and downs and then he proposed to me a year later on my birthday in my room, just him and I.  He had asked my dad, and my son for their permission.  He asked me right after I was watching the memorial for Michael Jackson so I was already in tears.

Crazy week here!

In addition to being scientist by day and musician by night, I am also in the middle of stimming for IVF 4.2. We are trying to get embryos to freeze in case we ever have a chance for a sibling. IVF 4.1 was in May and I only had about 4 follicles on an altered protocol. The cycle was cancelled and we are trying again. First monitoring is tomorrow.

If this one doesn't work, I think we are done. I hate to give up, but my mind and body are exhausted from this.

We are getting our roof replaced as I type. This is an expensive year!

Other than that, I am excited to hit V-day on Friday. We have contacted our attorney about doing the paperwork so that we will be Squirt's mom and dad from the moment she/he is born!

Thanks @Ashris13 for a great check in as always! Glad to hear you are finally feeling some movement. . .I know it was a great relief to me as it felt like things were on track.

AFM: I was back in Detroit this weekend and some of my former co-workers and friends threw me an early shower as this would be the last time I would be visiting for quiet some time  (I lived there for 7 years and was on a leave an absence for my job this past year). Truly grateful for the amazing women that I meet there and their generosity and support! It is making things feel very real now. The babies room is just filled with their stuff now. . .we have two cribs (not put together), a rocker (not put together from IKEA), a bunch of great hand me downs from friends & family as well as the shower stuff. My goal this weekend is to clean it up and hopefully set it up. I'm hoping that nesting instinct sets in real soon.

As for the babies. . .I'm really enjoying feeling their movements. I do notice that I get really tired in the middle of the day/evening because I'm not sleeping well at night. I don't notice the not sleeping well, but my husband does. I've also started getting heartburn - afternoons and evenings only so tums has become my best friend. Other than that trying to take it all in stride & enjoy it!

QOTW: We meet in stats class in grad school. Fast forward 4 years, he proposed while we were in Disney World. I had just moved to NC and meet a great group of women training for the Disney Marathon and they invited me to join them, but they all had their rooms. I thought. . .this is going to be a fight to get my husband to vacation in Disney for a marathon (he isn't a runner). But he said yes right away. . .I didn't have to pressure/persuade him. Turns out he was waiting for me to come up with some where/some place to go so I wouldn't be on to him. It was our first night there and as we were watching the fireworks over Cinderella's castle he asked me to marry him.

Hi Ladies, I got my first reality check this past week. My midwife called to let me know my AFP test came back abnormal so of course I started freaking out and ended up moving up my scan. 

Fast forward to the AS and everything is fine, so now I'm stuck in google limbo. I'll have to wait until this babe is here to confirm that everything truly is OK. On the upside, I was able to maintain team green during the scan and because of my abnormal bloodwork I will have many more ultrasounds :-)

QOTW: I met DH when I was 15 in europe, our families are from neighboring towns. We only reconnected about 6 years ago online and have been together ever since our first date.

I'm 19w6d now. I really can't wait till I get to V-day. I finally felt little boy move today. I have been feeling his sister who is up higher but him I have not at all. So that was exciting. Still waiting for my 20wk appt next week.

QOTW: I met DH at my first job. I knew him for 2 years before we started dating. I've now known him for 12 yrs and we've been married for almost 5. He didn't really propose, we just decided we were going to get married and got a ring. We are super unromantic like that.

Aww thanks hun! Glad you are doing well!  I can't believe I am finally here! Our families were super excited and surprised. Yesterday I had a 16 week appointment and a surprise sono! Everything looked great.  

Today I got the Panaroma results- all normal! AND....it's a BOY! SO excited! It finally feels real.  

I go back next week for an early anatomy scan due to a genetic issue that runs in my family.  Hoping everything looks good and I can stop worrying so much.

Hi ladies! 17 weeks on Thursday! It's going pretty fast now. Not sure if I'm feeling movement or not. I've had a bubble pop feeling once and then a muscle spasm feeling once but that's really it so far! I had 2nd trimester screening bw done last week, waiting on those results. My next dr. Apt is Monday then I have the big AS on August 5th!! I can't wait to find out if this baby is a boy or a girl! I also finally finished telling the family and went public with this announcement below on Facebook! I'm completely out now! :-)

QOTD: My hubby and I actually met through mutual friends one time at a bar said hi nothing special. He was friends with one of my close friends husband (might have been fiancé then). Then a year later we met up again through the same mutual friends for one of their birthdays then we started talking and getting interested. Asked him to come out for my birthday with a bunch of friends a week later and hit it off from there. Dated for a year and a half before we moved in together and got engaged! He sent me flowers on a random Tuesday at work that said let's meet after work where we had our first date and reminisce! So I went to Cheesecake Factory where we had our first date to meet him and we talked about our first date and laughed and then made out in the car like we did that night! Then he told me to jump in the car with him bc we were going somewhere else. He took me to the Chart House in weehawkin that is out on the bay with huge windows that overlook the beautiful NYC skyline. After dinner he said let's take some pictures outside with the city skyline behind us. As I was putting my purse down to take the picture he was getting on his knees and proposed when I turned around! Best part was he had his buddy outside hiding out to take pictures of our proposal! We had a two year engagement and got married in September 2011. We also fell into buying a must buy short sale home that we got incredibly lucky with and couldn't pass it by and officially moved in the day before our wedding! Yes, nbeen married for almost 3 years, together for 7 years!

Hello ladies!  Thanks for the checkin @ Ashris13

18w1d here and had my A/S today.  Baby looked great and was moving around a lot.   Because of the cervix pressure I felt a couple of weeks ago I asked the US tech to check my cervix.   We had to do an internal (which is no big deal to us who's been through fertility treatments), my cervix appeared to be closed and it measured fine.    After the A/S I had an appt with the NP, she said I had a low lying placenta (not covering the cervix) but was not worried since according to her, >99% of these cases resolve as baby and uterus get bigger.   I'll have another US at 30 weeks to check again.   We had baby's sex written down and sealed in an envelop.  DH is being good but his dad is trying to get him to cheat and open the envelop, lol.   "Balloons in a box" will be used in our reveal this Saturday.   We may finally hit BBB this Sunday to start a registry.  

QOTW:  DH and I actually met online.  We both decided that was our last month on the site, and we found each other that month   I mostly tell people we met through friends since they usually don't ask anymore after that.   DH proposed in 2009 on a nice fall day.  He took me to a public park in the city and got on one knee.  I was totally not expecting it.  Can't believe it was almost 5 years ago.

Things are still chugging along.  Now that we know it is two boys, we are having a hard time coming up with names.  We did register though and have most of that taken care of.  My brother is getting married in CA (we live in NY) in a couple of weeks and I am quite excited for our last vacation before the babies are here.

QOTW:  My husband and I met through mutual friends on the night before Halloween when I was dressed up as Wayne from Wayne's World.  We knew we would get married a couple of months later - hard to believe it's been almost 10 years since we met!

I'm 22 weeks now and 2 weeks away from v day so a little paranoid. I want this way with my first but with twins I'm the same size as I was when I was 30 weeks with DD. I can't wait till next month when it's a tiny bit of weight lifted off my shoulders. Got taken off full duty at work and it's a nightmare. Any hours they can't give me doing what I can still do will be taken out of my maternity leave. If that runs out before I can come back to work I loose my job and all our health insurance. Because I need more stress right now. DH and I met when he was 17 and I was 18 at work. We went to the same high school but never met there. We dated for over three years before he finally proposed. He kept telling me I'm gonna do it when you least expect it. So one night he got all dressed up and took me out to eat at a fancy restaurant. I waited all night and nothing. Two days later he took me out to red robin and proposed in the parking lot because it really was when I least expected it I laughed and cried, it was great. We will have our three year wedding anniversary right before baby 2 and 3 get here. And it will be 8 years since we started dating this January.

I'm always a day late to this check in. @Ashris13 I was able to find some shorts. And thanks to Kohl's cash I only paid $8 for two pairs of shorts! Now I just need to pack.

I'm 20w today! Halfway there. I started feeling him move last week. It was only once a day at first but now I feel him move several times throughout the day. We moved some extra furniture out of the nursery over the weekend so DH can start putting the crib together. We also picked up some paint swatches so hopefully we'll pick a paint color after we get back from vacation. Other than that I'm just trucking along. Everything has been good. I started taking Zantac so I've finally got a handle on my heartburn.

14 weeks today and would like to be added! EDD 1/14/15. Still waiting on my Panorama blood test results from last Wednesday to make sure all is well with the baby. My NT bloodwork came back a little abnormal. So excited to be starting second tri, this is my first and it's all too surreal!!

QOTD: Our engagment was really nice, down in Florida on the beach. Couldn't have asked for a better spot!

Hi ladies! I’m 16wks1day today and everything is still same old same old for me. Still experiencing nausea all day and still taking Zofran. At this point it’s a part of my daily routine  I still haven’t gained any weight (I’ve lost weight probably due to the nausea). My OB and nurses weren’t concerned too much at my 14wk appointment. I’ve been keeping track of my weight (no change) since then and I’m wondering if the doctor will bring it up at my next appointment in 2 weeks. A positive is I’m finally becoming more comfortable when sleeping so no body pillow yet! QOTW: DH and I met in college back in 2001 through a mutual friend at the time. This guy didn’t like my bf and wasn’t fond of DH’s gf at the time so he attempted to play match maker, but it didn’t work. In our previous SO’s defense, they are both great people, that guy was just weird. We were friends until we started dating in 2003 and got engaged in 2005. DH proposed to me the day before we moved into our first apartment surrounded by stacks of boxes. Its crazy for me to think we’ve been together for almost 11 years!

Hi ladies! Glad to see everyone is moving right along. @Ashris13-I have missed the last 2 check-ins...sorry for that:) I am 24w2d today. Monday was vday & it was a GREAT feeling. I'm so relieved to have made it to this point. We have been moving rooms around so what will be the nursery is now empty & ready for the contractor to start the wainscot & paint. The furniture should be here within the next 2 or 3 weeks so I'm excited to get everything set up! QOTW: My hubby & I met at a happy hour through the alumni association for our college. Come to find out we had a few mutual friends & even lived in the same apartment complex at college but never knew each other. He surprised me with a proposal in my apartment one night when he came to pick me up for a date. He had arranged for all of our friends to meet us out later that night so good thing I said yes! Lol! @TXUltraRunner - My husband & I are both Aggies so we know The Hall well! DH actually ran track at A&M.

Had another appointment yesterday. Baby A still has atrioventricular sepal defect (hole in his heart). He is also apparently growing small. Baby B is their words a Big Baby. He is doing great. Baby A weighed in at 10oz and B was 13oz. What is normal for 20 weeks with twins? Another bit of news we got was that I will not be able to deliver at the hospital I wanted and the Dr. I have been seeing does not deliver at the high risk hospital. I am not high risk but they want the children's hospital incase there is something wrong at birth. So trying to digest that as well. I just wish there was some normalcy with this pregnancy. Oh well I'm pregnant and that is amazing in itself. We can handle anything QOTD: Hubby and I met in high school on a trip to habitat for humanity. We became really good friends but I never had feelings for him. He was 3 years younger than me. In high school that is forever! I was dating a guy and he was dating that guys sister. Well fast forward 6 years and I'm talking to the guys sister and she tells me that DH was in the same city as I was. I called him to get together and catch up and it was love at first sight. We were engaged 3 months later and married 3 months after that Fast forward 7 years and we are finally expecting our first children.

I will be 26 weeks on Thursday. My feet are swelling at night. Midwife at docs office suggested drinking water with lemon & eating watermelon. She's not too worried because my blood pressure is really good. My FIL is going to town on the projects around the house! He redid the front porch, built a back porch, redid the windows in the nursery, new door & drywall in babies room. My brother installed the flooring last night and my FIL painted today. All that's left is the ceiling fan & moldings then we can decorate!! I'll attach a couple pics of what's done so far.

QOTW: DH & I met on MySpace. After a month we finally met up. Best date I had ever been on. We have been together ever since. We moved in together just after our 1st anniversary. The month before our 2 year anniversary, a week before he was deployed to Iraq, we had dinner plans with his brother & his girlfriend at our favorite sushi place. I was overly stressed and upset about him leaving to Iraq for almost a year, he was acting weird and it was stressing me out more, not to mention i was pmsing. Knowing there would be pictures taken, He suggested I change from my work clothes & fix my hair. After the weird day I had I thought he was picking on me (some thing he's never done). So I threw my hairbrush at him and told him he can go to dinner with out me if I wasn't presentable. I threw a fit and almost didn't go. After he apologized a ton I was still pissed but agreed to go. When we all arrived I slipped off my shoes and turned to find him on one knee with ring in hand. After seeing the ring, the weirdness all made sense and the first word out of my mouth were "are you shitting me?" (Classy I know!). Thank God he loves me anyway! We've been together for 8 years and married for 4.

I didn't see this post the other day but I'm 14wks today so I might as well join in now :-) I'm pregnant with twins, team PURPLE for now at least, I listen to their heartbeats a few times per week, I haven't had an u/s since my NT 2wks ago and I'm getting antsy already! I may pay to do a 4d at 16 cuz my ob isn't doing another until my anatomy scan.

I met DH at locos the summer after I graduated high school he was hanging out with some of my friends so I thought why do I not know this guy! I approached him struck up conversation he ended up going to the same friends house as I did after wards, we hung out again with the same friends the next night and we just hung out every weekend since. He proposed when he and I had our Christmas at our apt a few days before we went home for Christmas. I one by one took each of his presents to him and watched him open them, I had already saw my Christmas gift which was a beautiful armour, there was one small box wrapped in glittery paper left under the tree and he didn't say anything so I said and that's mine? can I open it now? And he said yea, while he was sitting stiff on the couch, I open it and look up at him and he looked like he was going to barf, and he said I think its what you wanted, (he said a few other sweet words that are kind of a blur now) will you marry me, I said yes and started crying and snotting everywhere. He didn't understand why I was crying lol but I'm sure I was not a pretty sight by the end

Glad you're finally feeling movement!! So exciting. I think I can safely say the same this week too. My placenta is anterior so no feelings of big kicks just yet, I want DH to be able to feel soon too. I read some women feel it really early (16 or 17 weeks) but at 19 weeks, I'm consistently feeling her every day now. I totally understand why people say it's the best feeling in the world now! I've totally abandoned my doppler, and between the a/s and next appointment will be a full month - the longest in-between appointments thus far and I'm totally OK with it this time.  

QOTW: I met DH at an after work happy hour. We were in the same department, but the department is huge. Thank goodness he changed teams shortly after so it we didn't have to hide it for too long!

I am 17w5d. I had some serious cramping this week. I tried not to freak out and told myself that it is probably just the baby growing. Turns out I was 1/2 right. So I decided to call my doctor and tell him about the pain. They had me come in right away and after an internal exam, they followed up with an u/s and confirmed that I have a few fibroids. There is one on my left side which is causing the pain. So as the baby grows, it is putting pressure on that fibroid and they are hoping the baby "crushes it". If it continues to grow, the baby should be fine but I will feel lots of pain. They will continue to monitor it but the only thing I can take is tylenol for it. After that day, the pain lightened up so I am hoping that means the baby "crushed" it. We'll see. I am still throwing up like every 2-3 days so that isn't fun.

I picked out my crib. I am getting the Sundvik crib from IKEA. I am a very simple person and I don't really have any grand dreams/themes about a nursery so this crib fits my taste and personality very well. I'm just not into decorating in general. I love the price too. After we buy the mattress it will probably cost us like $200 for everything all together. I already knew how to crochet but I have only made blankets in the past. Last weekend I watched a Youtube video and learned how to make a baby hat. Our anatomy scan is on the 29th so once we find out the gender, I am about to go crazy with hats! Hope everyone is doing well!

QOTW- DH and I met at a night club. He proposed 3.5 years later. It was my birthday and at exactly 12AM he came in with a Tiffany bag and when I opened it, it was another charm for my bracelet. I wasn't expecting anything else, because that was expensive gift in itself. He told me to open the charm, which happened to be a locket (I didn't notice that it could actually open). I struggled a bit to open it and when I did, there was a tiny scroll inside. When I looked over to him he was on one knee and I read the note which said "Marry Me?". Best day of my life! We married later that year on NYE.

Will be 25 weeks tomorrow. Took and failed the 1 hour glucose screening test. Boo! My reward will be the 3 hour test next week. So not looking forward to that.

My RE had my A1C tested last year so at least I know where my baseline was.

My rings have been snug a few days this week, so curious to know what others plan to do when your rings no longer fit.

QOTW: DH and I met through my high school friend, but did not start dating until we were both in the career world. He proposed on a trip to Yosemite National Park.
