Happy Tuesday ladies! Hope you are all doing well this week!

This is a weekly check-in for women who have suffered the loss of an angel with an EDD in June, no matter what the year.  You are welcome to join us, just post an intro including your EDD and the information below:

Where are you in your TTCAL journey/cycle, etc? Any updates/appointments you'd like to share?

Good luck to all of you!! If you leave for PGAL, please send me a PM so we can all congratulate you. If you are taking a bump break, please do the same!

QOTW: When you’re down, what’s your go-to pick-me-up?

**************************

June Bugs:

@MrsG80inTN 6/4/2014- I’m sorry to see AF showed a few days ago (((hugs))). Did she show early like you hoped? And I’m so glad to hear your karyotyping came back normal. I know it’s not an answer, but at least it’s not something genetic that can’t be changed. FX the clomid does the trick.

@luckyclover0922 6/8/2014- I’m so sorry to see that AF showed yesterday (((hugs))). It stings all the more when you feel like there are pregnant women all around you. How are you doing?

@BackstreetPixie 6/17/2014- I’m sorry to hear about the headaches, do you take any meds for them? And how’s the 2WW going? FX this cycle is the one!

@kittymeowbark 6/21/2014- What’s going on with you this week lady?

@newfmom7 6/27/2014- I’m sorry to hear AF showed last week (((hugs))) but I’m glad you’re out of the crazy cycle. But hey, it was longer, that’s a good sign! How was puppy sitting? And when do you expect O?

@towncargirl 6/27/2014- Dang, what insensitive coworkers! TP to them!! I wish you all the best in trying to get back in shape and into a better headspace. FX NTNP does the trick. I hope you come back and check-in every now and then.

@sunflwra 6/5/2014 loss date- Like @ MrsG80inTN I’m sorry you were disappointed by your results. I remember waiting for mine, completely unsure of what I wanted. I wanted an answer to our losses and yet I didn’t want something to be wrong, so I know exactly how you feel. However, my world crashed in on me the day I heard my results were positive for a genetic disorder. It’s not something that I can ever change and it is likely something I will pass along to my children, if I am lucky enough to have them. I hate that my children will likely suffer losses and that it will be because of something I passed down. With a positive result comes IVF and PGD, which is a huge expense (not an ideal “fix”). I certainly hope for you that, whatever the issue is, it’s something that is identifiable and fixable (and ideally not too expensive). But anyway, congrats on the weight loss! What are you doing to get yourself healthier?

If your name is missing from above, please let me know and post an update. Some are not included as we have not heard from you in many weeks.

@jbasore1123 - thanks for the check-in.  How are you???  What's going on in your world?

CD1 has come and gone, and AF was weird this month (maybe due to first cycle post loss?)... It was shorter and lighter than normal... which of course has me bugged out.  Since CD1 came earlier than I anticipated it means that I should be home for all of my FW and not have to worry about that!  YAY.  We may even hit good timing with the weekend being a peak time, but who knows... With clomid days 3-7 and a trigger shot I'm not quite sure what to expect this cycle if that makes sense???

ETA - QOTW - I always forget to look for this - LOL.  I would say either chocolate or a workout... One is significantly more healthy than the other :-)

  • Good morning Ladies!!

Thank you for the check-in @jbasore1123

kittymeowbark 6/21/2014- What’s going on with you this week lady?

Since we were trying to avoid this cycle, I was drinking a little more than usuall and had too many morning hangovers. Which of course lead to a crappy job of temping. I have no clue when I O'd or if I even did. I honestly never realized how much information temping can provide. I feel so lost this cycle, because of this. We did have an oppsy moment, so I might be in the 2ww anyway. I guess back to the waiting game, which I am learning TTC is all about.

Hope all you ladies are enjoying your day!

@MrsG80inTN --- fx for good timing. GL hun!

  • kittymeowbark - I understand the temping issues... in the last couple of days I know I've taken mine every day, but missed 2 days of logging it... It's early in the cycle so shouldn't matter, but ugh.  Sorry you don't know where you're at in your cycle though... that makes things difficult - at least it does for me.

  • Hey @jbasore1123!

I'm doing okay. my ff chart is quite confusing... it didn't pick an ovulation day until 2 days after the day it picked... luckily we are bding every other day and have been since cleared to ttc so maybe this will be it? i hope...  My cycle is so weird and hard to follow lol.

@mrsg80intn Fx you have good timing lady! =)

@kittymeowbark Sorry you have had a hard time temping and don't know where you are at.  I'm stil new to temping, but I'm finding with PCOS it really isn't that regular... but I'm trying anyway! =)

  • Thanks for the check-in @jbasore1123!  Any updates with yourself?

So I O'd very early this last cycle and really thought it might have been our month.. but alas it is not. Anyways, this cycle I am going to start Clomid CD 5-9 and then go in for my ULT to make sure my follies are at a good size. He has talked about a trigger shot but since I ovulate on my own is this necessarily completely necessary? Will I still ovulate as normal with taking the Clomid?

@MrsG80inTN - Fingers crossed for you this cycle. This will be my first time using Clomid this cycle too so I am not quite sure what to expect. I wonder why some people take it CD 3-7 and some 5-9 - doc preference maybe?

@kittymeowbark - Hopefully your 'oopsy' was at the perfect time!!!  Everytime I have a few drinks my temp is always higher in the morning.. Even though its good for us to relax and enjoy ourselves sometimes I hate to do it b/c of the temping.

My OB had me doing it 5-9, but my RE has me doing it 3-7... the RE is hoping it will make me O sooner.  even on clomid I can manage to O at CD20 and the RE thinks that earlier O could be helpful... I'm doing a trigger shot after the monitoring U/S.

I understand FF frustrations... last month it didn't give me CHs until 5 DPO (ugh) and then it took them away on 7 DPO and gave them back to me on 8 DPO.  I was so confused... and obviously FF was too.  FX for you.

  • BackstreetPixie  --I am sorry to hear that it is not helping just yet. I am new at it as well, and my first cycle was just a mess (56 days) and then 2nd cycle it have me CH and then took them away. I was like WTF am I doing here!!!! But yes, keep with it and you will hopefully see a pattern soon. Hugs.

luckyclover0922   wow. I just don't even try temping or waking up at the matter if I am drinking the night before. It really takes so much planning and thought to temp correctly. My main challenge is doing it at the same time everyday. I "set" FF for 7:30am but sometimes I wake up on my own at 6:30am and temp is all messed up. Thank you btw, I hope the "opps" did the trick as well.

  • @MrsG80inTN- I'm glad you won't have to miss your window! FX that this cycle is the one.
@KittyMeowBark- LOL, love the red pandas. Take a temping break for your sanity ;)  And who knows, maybe an "oopsie" will bring good luck
@BackstreetPixie- All my fingers are crossed for you!
@luckyclover0922- My guess is he wants to do the trigger shot so he can control exactly when he wants you to ovulate. That way, he can instruct you exactly when to do the BD for the best chances.

  • As for me, I took my last BCP on Sunday and started Estrace yesterday- one in the morning, one at night (which they didn't tell me until I called for clarification today). I go in for my baseline on Friday. I am supposed to get my period and I thought it started today but it was extremely light so I hope it gets a move on before Friday.

I also made a huge mistake at work today, which has really amped up my anxiety. It could potentially lead to me losing my job and screwing myself over in court. I'm seriously freaking out! My boss is out of town so I think I'm going to talk to her boss about it and then contact the facility's attorney.

  • Thanks for the check in. I'm in mobile and extremely tired but wanted to reply. I work at a bank and its a small branch, normally 10 people, but this week we're functioning on 4. IT'S CRAZY. And SO GLAD OUR DOGS ARE NOT PUPPIES ANYMORE! My husband said it would be easier to have a baby because they have diapers and you're not constantly standing over them hoping they don't pee on your carpet. Clearly he has not spent any time with babies, but his comment sums up our experience :(
I just took my last clomid pill for this cycle. Last time I OD on CD12 so I guess I'm getting ready to board the crazy train! Not going to rely on OPKs this time though.
@jbasore1123‌ that sucks about your job! Sometimes responsibility sucks BC you're always at risk of screwing up bad. I really hope you can find a way to fix everything because you definitely don't need this stress.
