Fuckity fuck

I have a yeast infection. I am squirming and miserable! This is only my second one ever and my last one was 15 years ago. So help me out- how long til it starts feeling better- started the OTC meds today. Any other remedies?

Re: Fuckity fuck

  • Start OTC if that doesn't clear it up see a doc for prescription.

Or you could always stuff a clove or two of garlic up there. Of course then you'll taste garlic

Spits out wine!!!! Lol-ing at garlic up the vjay-jay.

Hope you get some relief soon!!!!

I had recurrent yeast during pregnancy, and diflucan only helped for a few days before it came back. My OB recommended a daily acidophilis pill and it was a fucking miracle.

I have this!! My husband takes it because it helps make his farts not smell so wretched LOL! Thanks I will def try it!

@ChickenOnSunday‌ a wire brush is tempting LOL. Just call me fire crotch bc that's what it friggin feels like.

Anyone that gets yeast infections on a recurring basis can have all my sorries!

I'm with you right now.  Went to the store last night for some Monostat.  Woke up at 4am and really considered getting out some sand paper!  Holy hell!!!  This better be over soon!

Try a bunchof baking soda in a warm bath (like just sit in a few inches of water with baking soda in the tub). Ive done this at the first itch/start of a YI and it cures it completely.

    Eta fucking typos

Thank you! I will try this and/or the ACV bath. Looks like I have a lot of bathing in my future lol
  • I'm going through this too. I used monistat and felt like I was on fire and it didn't help.

Got the diflican and thought it was coming back.

Went to ob today and yeast is all gone and she thinks I had an allergic reaction to yeast since everything looks fine and normal now.

    Hopefully cultures are also negative.

I have this problem. I am allergic to the yeast. Sometimes I just stuff an ice pack in my undies.

The garlic thing sounds weird/gross, but it really does work! I has even helped me with UTI's (I go through a phase every few years where I will have several in a row). I find the weirdest part to be the taste in my mouth. I feel like it has to be psychological though.

Oh God allergic to the yeast?! You have my sorries! I sincerely hope I do not have that allergy!

I just don't think I have it in me to put garlic in my vag... Or any food. Lol

Haha yeah, I only did it because I was desperate and at the time we were so broke it was really my only option. It certainly isn't the first thing I would grab.

I can see being desperate. I'm getting there. Tomorrow I may feel differently about garlic if these meds don't start doing something.

I told DH I would put money down that every woman who ever committed murder was coincidentally suffering from a yeast infection. This shit can drive you bat shit crazy.

Just a thought, but did you see the dr and have them do cultures to rule out BV or other bacterial infections?

A few years back I had what I thought was the worst YI, but it ended up being bacterial instead of yeast. After a course of antibiotics, I was good to go.

@MrsT0514‌ no I didn't. I figured I would call if the OTC meds didn't help. It does seem much better today. Thanks for the info. I may call if it doesn't continue to get better :)
