My name is Amber, and my husband and I are TTC after a loss.  I miscarried with out first pregnancy a year and 7 months ago. 
We have been trying to get pregnant again since then. I am honestly a little frustrated, because I feel like we have tried everything. 
I have been charting-which is crazy to me-I never get any answers. 
I have been taking OPK's and I finally received a readable positive. 
I am using Progesterone Cream as well~can using that make you nauseous? 
Any tips are welcome, because I am at my whits end.

    Hello,
             I am sorry for your loss and the difficulties you've experienced. My husband and I had a first MC too in January, and my doctor ran a bunch of blood tests at different days of my cycle, and it showed I ovulate very late or perhaps have anovulatory cycles.  He put me on Clomid. It's my first round, so I can't tell you if it works, but I would maybe ask your doc to probe a little deeper if you are having problems.  
             I don't know whether it will work, but I feel better having a doctor who is committed to helping us get pregnant.

    So sorry for your loss. Welcome to the board. I take 200mg of progesterone during my tww and it makes me nauseous. It's the pill though, so I don' know if there is a difference but I wanted to chime in. I hope you find answers to your questions, and I wish you luck in TTC. Have you talked to your OB about any concerns you have? ((HUGS))

    I'm sorry for your loss. I have taken progesterone and according to what I have read it can make you nauseous. I've not taken cream though. I also get monitored by my RE to see if I'm ovulating. Opk's just tell you that you're surging but you don't necessarily ovulate. I would refer to your dr to see what else you can do. GL and welcome to the board.

    Sorry for your loss and frustrations, but welcome to the board
    I don't have experience with the cream, as I use the lovely capsules to insert vaginally, but I've never experienced nausea.
    I would definitely discuss its use and side effects with your dr

    Everyone has great advice! Are you seeing an OB or RE? If your not seeing a RE with your loss and the fact its been a year and a half since your loss and your still TTC with no luck you may want to consider requesting a referral from your OB to see a RE who can do a lot more testing for both you and DH to provide you with a great plan of action.

    First, I'm so sorry for your loss. ::hugs::  I have no advice on progesterone, but I was going to ask if you are seeing an OB or an RE. They may be able to help and answer questions. Also with charting being crazy have you ever talked to a doctor about that? I have PCOS which can really mess with the charting and makes it difficult. PCOS makes me irregular and I don't cycle without medication because of it. Even on the medication my cycles are not regular. Anyway just a few thing to think about and ask a doc about. ::hugs:: I'm sorry you are here but hope you find good support and answers.

    I'm sorry for your loss. Welcome to the board - I hope you find the support you're looking for here. If you've been trying for more than a year without success, have you considered talking to your doctor about options such as testing, etc. It's possible you're dealing with an underlying issue that's taking you a while to conceive or making your cycles wonky. Most doctors will see you for infertility issues after a year of trying with no success if you're under 35, six months if you're 35 or over. Post a link to your charts if you have it.

    Thank you all for the welcome, and for helping with what you are able. I tried putting it in my siggy earlier, but i couldn't get it to work. I'll try to take a screen shot and see what I can do from there. I have a Drs appt next week with a new dr, so I'm hoping to get better answers then! :) You all are so encouraging! Thank you, once again!
