Cholestasis anyone?

So my hands have been incredibly itchy since Friday. So I called the midwife this morning and she says there's a good chance it's cholestasis , I have to go in the morning to have blood work done. After looking up what this was, I'm a bit nervous. I've already been worried about pre-term labor since I had a LEEP done last year, my cervix was 2.6 cm 2 weeks ago so it's still ok for now. But now this on top of it is freaking me out! I'm only 24 weeks (I know, not 3rd tri but since it's more common in 3rd tri....). Anyway any other ladies diagnosed with this? How are you and baby doing? Thanks for any help!

I had it with my last pregnancy.  But I noticed it in my legs first.  I was induced with my son at 37 weeks.  I was put on a medication called actigall (sp?) it helped with the itching but not 100%. Luke warm showers helped as well with the itching. It started for me at 35 weeks so fortunately I didn't have to wait too long for relief.  From what I know of it you will most likely be induced around 34-37 weeks depending on the severity of  it.  Good luck!!!
