What do you put in your baked beans?

Mustard (sometimes), brown sugar, bacon. They are all delicious. Don't think you could really mess them up. I've heard of people putting ketchup, BBQ sauce, onion, etc.

My stepmom's recipe has molasses, ground beef, and bacon. And all sorts of other goodness. But those are the main ingredients, to my knowledge.

I don't make them, but when I go out to eat I always order borracho beans (drunk beans) which have beer in them.

Big can of original baked beans, 1/2 lb bacon, 1 lb ground meat, onions, bell pepper, 2 tbs ketsup, brown sauger, and mustard. Bake until bubbly!

We also do a can of baked beans and then add a little salt, brown sugar, ground beef or bacon, some Tony's, some diced onion, and then H sometimes adds hot sauce.

FOR THE RECORD, I like the beans saucy, but with just the slightest chewy crust on top from the oven. It's a delicate balance.

This. I have never made them, and rarely eat the canned ones. I do love me some baked beans though.
