Monday Workout Thread

Good morning, ladies!

I started 30DS last night and then went running this morning.  I got stuck forever on week 7 of C25k so I've been just kinda winging it lately.  I think I may start C25k all over and try to go faster on my intervals since I'm slow as all get out.  Any other suggestions?

I've got barre class scheduled for tomorrow night and I'm gonna try and work out every day this week.  

How's everyone else's work out week going?

  • I brought my gym bag to work today in hopes of going for a run. I didn't run all weekend because of monsoon rain storms. I have an 8k race coming up in August, and then my first half marathon in October. I need to get my ass out there at least 4 times a week from here on out.

    I have my stuff to work out but I'm not sure if I will do it. I have a horrible cough and some junk in my lungs that makes it difficult to breathe.

  • I just finished week 6 of C25K and will be starting week 7 today. I'm also hoping to hit up the gym and do some arm work.

  • I've been a lazy bum the last 2 weeks. O was sick, then I got her cold, and it's hard to coordinate run or gym time with baby's schedule. I'll get into it again soon. I hope.

    Someone motivate me please! I was doing so well, I finished C25k and ran a race and everything! Ugh.

  • Waiting for ds to nap then going to do a half hour tabata workout. Dh did the tough mudder yesterday and I really regret not doing it with him. I am so doing it next year! Gotta work on getting better at running and pull-ups.

  • Workout done. 30 minutes of tabata, 15 minutes if stretch/Pilates to nurse a sore groin. Working on eating better today. This weekend wasn't a total wash, but it sure wasn't perfect. Yesterday's food consumption consisted of 2 protein bars until a nice big steak and steamed clams dinner...yum!

  • Baby woke up early. Teething sucks. I was sooooo tempted to skip the workout, but did 30DS while kids were eating breakfast (and then "helping" me when they finished). DS1 kept telling me it was a great workout and that I was doing a good job.

    So far, I've eaten well today. I keep fighting a battle in my head about whether or not it's even worth it this week. We're going on vacation next week. I will be eating and drinking all the things. Might as well start now?
  • I just spent the last two days traversing an (extremely hilly) amusement park and eating crap. It was great but my right knee and hips may never forgive me. Back on track tomorrow.

  • I still don't have decent running shoes, but I have to go on a run tonight or I'll lose my mind. I need something to relieve my stress and anxiety, and running is the only healthy thing I can think of.

    Yoga? I lift weights when I'm really stressed.

    I ate well most of the weekend. I rode 10 miles yesterday. Saturday I did a boot camp class that I am still feeling today. Work sucked ass big time today and then I had my nephew's birthday party tonight. I finally got home around 9, put DS to bed and am relaxing on the couch. I plan to go for a run in the morning.
