What is making you smile this morning?

I'm smiling b/c DS is so fascinated with my baby belly right now. The last few nights when we've had our cuddle time before bed, he's been wanting to uncover my belly so he can see and talk to the baby. He's probably more fascinated by how big and round it is and how weird my belly button looks right now, but it is still sweet. I had some really strong contractions last night, so I have an inkling that this one might come a tad earlier than expected.

Imms that life is back to normal today. One more month of maternity leave! And I start crossfit today. Lets see if I'm still smiling about it tomorrow.

P had her 1st Birthday party this Saturday, and it was great! She was so social, and happy, and silly. I'm smiling because the planning and prepping is over and I can finally focus on other things... like stuff for work that's due at the end of the month. But I'm still smiling, regardless! I also am awaiting fluff mail, which I haven't gotten in quite some time.

IMMS that another mom came up to me after church last night and mentioned that she is starting an in home daycare next year. She is the mom of 5 wonderful boys. They are all in school now and she tried working a daycare, but how factory like they are. She misses having babies at home. I am very excited that I hopefully won't have to put him in a daycare center. So far there is only 1 other kid she has so it will be a small group. I am going over to see her house/talk details later this week, but I have a very good feeling about this. I hope it works out.

Another plus is I'm sure it will be hundreds less a month in cost, so I feel less bad about getting our bathrooms redone.

P has also mastered crawling this weekend and it is adorable. He likes to crawl away, look over his shoulder and laugh hysterically. I'm glad he took till almost a year to crawl because man is it exhausting.

Overall I'm having a very smiley Monday.

I put some of DDs second hand ACs up for sale this morning. They need new elastics and they don't fit her well enough for me to bother fixing them. They are already sold and I've older end her a few new covers to replace them!

L was up at 3 am on Sunday morning chattering and that did not make me smile. Then he looked over to DH in the other bed at the hotel room. He said, "Dada" and he pointed and waved, which definitely made me smile in my sleepy state. I was also able to leave him with a friend at the race while I frantically ran to the bathroom. He didn't cry!

IMMS that for the last two mornings, DS has not asked to nurse. I'm so hoping this is the end for us! Weaning has been seriously difficult.

My son pooped this morning!  Today would have been going on day 3.  Pears and apricots must have done the trick.

IMMS to see C skyping with daddy in Asia. He just laughs and laughs the whole time, and gives the screen kisses.

IMMS that Harper loves water so much! We have a baby pool and she splashes and screams excitedly. She was playing with a toy duck and I said quack quack and she copied me! It also mms how sweet Colton is with her

Imms that my dog came home! He is a six year old lab, living in the country we don't have a fenced in "yard". The whole property is fenced and we never had a issue withthem leaving. But last week he just vanished. Called the neighbors and even check the pound in the town nearest us. After about five days we accepted he was gone.

Well this morning I went to the mail box to pick up my FLUFF MAIL( a TT, and TTNN) as I am driving up to the house there he is standing in the drive way! I get out all excited, and expect he will come see me. Nope first he must pee on my tires, then if get a big slobbering dog kiss! Yeah! I am so happy!

IMMS that Raegan pooped in the potty today. She seriously regressed with potty learning and so I was super excited that she used it. One less poopy diaper to change today!

Omg I'm awful. J started this yesterday too! He kind of crawls backwards, but yesterday I heard gremlin noises and looked over and his legs and arms were thrashing wildly and he was slowly making his way across the carpet. It was hilarious.

Yes, the noises just make me laugh so much. C isn't moving around on hands and knees yet, but he sits there rocking back and forth making gremlin noises. And then I can't help but laugh.

IMMS that today is fabulous. M slept longer than expect this morning so I was able to prep dinner and finish diaper laundry so DH has a lot less to do while M cluster feeds tonight. Then I went to a new moms group. I tried going last month and no one was there, but I prearranged to meet a mom from the babywearing group there and we discovered that everyone trickles into this meeting whenever. So I met a bunch of new moms and converted one to CDs! She was on the fence, but our local consignment store had a good deal on GMD prefolds so she decided to buy them and we're going to get together and I'll show her the ropes. Then I got together with a friend and M stayed awake to entertain her and her mom while I ate lunch, but then promptly fell asleep in the Boba so my friend and I could go for a walk. Then M and I came back to the bakery where she cooed and giggled on the playmat for 15 minutes while I got some dishes washed. It really has been a lovely day.

One thing I have learned about being a mom, I may try my best to be on time for things, but it hardly ever works out that way.  Even when I plan to leave 15 minutes early.  It never fails that one of the kids poops or we have a toddler meltdown.
