I've been EP'ing for a couple weeks (Hannah was FF while I was too sick to feed her and she decided she likes the bottle better).
1) 2-3 ounces per side (she was born 6/13 and this has been increasing) 2) 12-15 min 3) nope - my prenatals have been giving me horrible heartburn, so I quit taking them. 4) also trying to get in 6-7 sessions a day. I pump every 3 hours during the day, with my last session being at midnight and my first being around 7 am.
I'm a STM, and seem to have an oversupply. I EP'd for 9 months with DD1. DD2 was born on July 3rd
1.how many oz of milk are you getting per side? 4-8oz depending on time of day and how close to my last feeding (I'm still breastfeeding). I pump 1-3 times a day depending on our schedule.
2.how long are you pumping for? 10-15 min
3. Are you taking any vitamins or eating anything to help increase supply? No, but I did take Fenugreek last time and it worked well, but gave me crippling gas. I bought some for this baby but I'm not going to need it.

1. .5-1.5 oz per side
2 10-15 minutes each side
3. I'm still taking prenatals and I'm making sure to eat oatmeal, leafy greens, fruits and berries also almonds
1.how many oz of milk are you getting per side? Between 2-3 oz each side. I've been pumping for 5 weeks now. It has gradually increased throughout that time.
2.how long are you pumping for? 15 minutes. However, I notice I get the most milk in the first 5-7 minutes, so sometimes I stop early if I'm in a rush or need to tend to baby.
3. Are you taking any vitamins or eating anything to help increase supply? I made lactation muffins and eat one at breakfast and one at lunch. Do not take or eat any of these things after dinner time because you will wake up in the middle of the night super engorged (unless you are pumping throughout the night).
I pump 2-3 times a day. I am also breast feeding. I use the pumped milk so that DH can do one middle of the night feeding and I freeze the rest.
Also, I made my own pumping bra for free. I used a surgical bra that I already had that clips in the front. Made a dot where my nipples were, cut slits in it and voila. I am hands free pumping as I type this.
BFP #1: 3/23/13, EDD: 11/22/13, MC: 4/2/13
Convinced it was a boy and missing him every day!
BFP #2: 10/25/13, EDD: 7/3/14, Grow baby Grow! Anabelle Rose born 6/6/14
I'm not currently pumping, as I still have an inside baby, but I pumped with DD1 and DD2 when I was working. While at home I breastfed, but pumped at work. In hindsight, I probably had an oversupply, but never complained since it made pumping at work easy with the very limited time I had available (I was a teacher.)
1. My first pumping of the morning was 8 oz from one side, then she would nurse on the other side. Each pumping at work was about 4 ounces- 2 or 3 sessions depending on if she would still be at the sitter for the afternoon feeding or not.
2. I only had to pump about 10 minutes.
3. Never ate anything specific, though I have several friends who swear by Fenugreek.

What are lactation muffins?! And how do you make them? I think I need these. I could use some engorgement in lefty. So not a FTM but am a third time mom for the first time in 12 years so everything feels brand new so I'm totally eavesdropping. These lopsided boobs are killing me!
The answer to these questions vary daily. I got 5 oz out of righty this morning in less than 5 minutes, but I've also been exclusively feeding on lefty to try and bring up supply, then dry pumping for about ten minutes more to increase supply.
I usually pump no longer than 10-15 minutes and get 1-5 oz depending on a side's particular issues that day .
I'm not taking any vitamins or eating anything special but after reading this I may now!

2. 10-20 minutes, sometimes I get distracted and loose track of time
3. I take fenugreek on occasion and I am getting supplies together to make some lactation cookies. I know several people who swear by the cookies.
I've been pumping for about a week now, so hoping supply will increase as we go along.
