Another BFN... in need of some supporting words (kids mentioned - not mine)

I thought I would be a lucky one that would have a BFP after first IUI... but I guess I am in the group of BFN again.
It has been almost 2 years we have been trying and we were so hopeful this time. When I saw the negative result on the test, my heart sunk and I couldnt stop crying... 

Today I went to Kohls shopping for new clothes to make me feel better. I saw this woman who had 4 kids, again 4 kids AND one on the way  in that store! The kids were running wild all over and crying and screaming and everything possible. I looked to my DH and asked; "how is that fair?" but I guess life isnt fair and we have to suck it up and move on. 

I am not sure I want to try this month again, maybe we will take a break. I was on 150 mg of clomid and 800 mg of progesterone and had a really hard time with the side effects. I had ONE single follicle, for the first time, that had matured. I am  not sure I can handle higher dosages...

I am beyond sad at this point...

    So sorry for your BFN.

    Do you think your RE would consider a different medication, for example, Letrozole/Femara for its lower side effects?

    I'm sorry. :-( Medicated BFNs are tough. It's hard to see moms out with their little kids too. I feel like every time I go to Target, specifically, 50% of the women are pregnant. It sucks.

    9/2014 And now adding hypothyroid to the list- Started synthroid 9/2014
    Cycles 1-4 - Sept.-March- All Anovulatory 
    IUI #1 March/April-  Clomid 50mg + Clomid 100mg +Trigger + IUI #1 = BFN
     IUI #2 April/May-Clomid 100mg + Clomid 150mg + Trigger + IUI #2 + Endometrin=BFN
    IUI #3- June- Follistim 75iu + Trigger + IUI #3  Benched due to a 40 mm cyst. :-(
    IUI #3- July- Follistim 75iu + Trigger + IUI #3 + Endometrin = BFP! on 7/25/14
    Slowly rising betas - Ectopic suspected on 8/8/14 & confirmed on 8/11/14
    Methotrexate on 8/12/14 -HCG negative on 9/2/14
    IVF #1- November- Antagonist protocol: 11/1: start stims, 200iu of Follistim; 11/12 ER 17R/14M/14F; 11/17 5 day transfer of two blasts, 2 blasts and 2 expanding morulas frozen; 11/22 BFP!! (On FRER at 5dp5dt)
    Betas: 9dp5dt 205, 11dp5dt 497, 14dp5dt 1,709
    u/s at 5w0d- 1 sac; u/s at 6w0d 1 baby with heartbeat, another sac without a heartbeat

    Together since 2/15/11 ~ Legally married in NY on 9/29/12

    We've been working on baby #1 since July 2013 using Open ID donor sperm.  8 IUI attempts with 5 actual IUIs and one chemical pregnancy.  We have one fresh IVF cycle under our belts as well as a FET.  I have endometriosis and a uterine septum that was corrected via surgery in November 2013. 

    11/14/14 -  Second HSG shows that tubes are still clear and ute is looking good. 

    12/6/14 - Started BCPs in prep for IVF #2

    12/22/14 - Saline u/s and endometrial scratch (All was clear and OUCH!)

    1/2/15 - Began stimming for IVF #2

    Sorry for your BFN. I hope you find a treatment plan that works better for you for when you're ready to try again.

    Official diagnosis: Unexplained IF. I am 32. I have low ovarian reserve (low AMH), and poor egg quality. I've also been diagnosed with mild glandular developmental arrest (lining problems, detected with EFT).

    We are using open ID donor sperm. IUIs #1-7=BFN. IVF September 2014 antagonist protocol, 8R,5M,3F, 5 day transfer of 1 morula = BFN. IVF#2 planned for January 2015 (antagonist protocol + HGH).

    1 cycle Clomid 50 mg + TI - no response stair-stepped to Clomid 75 mg + Ovidrel + TI

    1 cycle Clomid 50 mg + Ovidrel + IUI

    1 cycle Letrozole 7.5 mg + 150 mg Follistim + Ovidrel + TI

    1 cycle Letrozole 7.5 mg + 150 mg Folistim + Ovidrel + IUI

    1 cycle Letrozole 7.5 mg + 150 mg Follistim  - no response, repeated Letrozole 7.5 mg + 150 mg Follistim + Ovidrel + IUI = success! 12/2014

    Beta 1 - 15 dpiui, 324, Beta 2 - 17 dpiui 750. Twins!!

    I'm really sorry for the BFN, and the shopping experience as well. Lots of hugs, and fingers crossed that you get your BFP very soon!

    Me: 27 DH: 35

    TTC #1 Since July 2013

    Started RE Testing July 2014

    2 HSG tests: Right tube is blocked, possible endo.

    TSH elevated, started Synthroid 25 mg daily.

    October, 2014: Femara 5 mg + TI ---> 3 follies on blocked tube side ---> BFN

    November, 2014: Femara + Ovidrel + IUI#1--2 follies (on the good side), 46 mil. motile sperm=BFN

    Nov-Dec 2014: Femara + Ovidrel + IUI #2 (1 follie, 76 mil. motile sperm) + Endometrin=BFN

    January, 2014: Femara + Ovidrel + IUI #3 (1 follie, 38 mil. motile sperm)=???

    New RE appt. scheduled for 1/14.

    I'm so sorry :( we are at the 2 year mark next month and it's depressing. Definitely check into other meds, it sounds like Clomid may not be the one for you. (Hugs)

    @lebradford what is it about Target?! The one I go to is the same. Ugh

    I'm so sorry. BFN are really hard but I think medicated ones are even tougher. It's like even with the help of modern medicine you can't get pregnant. I'm send you a big virtual hug!
    Me: +35 DH: +35
    TTC: Since January 2013 
    DX: PCOS. Severe Endometriosis, Unicornuate Uterus w/only left tube and left ovary, Pedunculated fibroid (on the outside of uterus) and Anovulation. All conditions diagnosed 8/13
    TX: Metformin
    DH DX: MFI - low morphology, low motility
    Ultrasound shows both kidneys in spite of UU. 
    HSG showed clear tube on the left side. 
    Lap Surgery performed 1/9/14 to remove fibroid and endo (Stage 3)
    • IUI# 1 June 2014 started 100 mg of Clomid - 7dpiui Progesterone: 13: BFN
    • IUI#2  July 2014 started 100 mg of Clomid - 7dpiui Progesterone: 5.75: BFN
    • Natural Cycle - so shocked to be in 2WW - 7dpo Progesterone: 15.5: BFN
    • Working with new RE starting injectables in late August.
    • IUI #3 August 2014  w/ Menopur: BFN
    • Finally ovulating on my own!!
    Waiting to start IVF hopefully

    I'm sorry about your BFN.  I had the exact same day.  Took a HPT this morning and as usual BFN. I'm so bitter and angry. Not to mention the Progesterone makes me cry over every little thing.  To top it off I had to go to the dentist this morning (good times) and got asked twice if I had any kids yet.  I met my DH for lunch and just cried.  I don't have any advice, but I can tell you, you're not alone.

    IVF #1 Nov. 2014 - ER 11/10 (10R 6M 6F) - ET 11/13

    Oh Ladies, thank you so much for all your kind words and support. Although I am not a very super duper active on the boards - just lack of time, I do feel that here I can find people who I can relate to and understand what I am feeling. Non of my friends understand me as they , Thank God, never had any problems conceiving, but your words make me feel better. Too bad I dont drink any other type of liquid besides water and juices that I make out of fruits, otherwise I would take couple bottles of wine. My husband did thought! He was actually the first one who had the results and when I saw him looking at it and his eyes got all watery and red, I already knew what was coming... We will definetely take a brake for a cycle or two and think about what we should do next. Now, I will be around here as I want to see your successful stories!!!!

    I'm sorry that you're having a hard time right now.  I second trying another medication like Femara.  Same results, less side effects.  I refused to do Clomid for that reason and my RE completely agreed and prefers Femara anyways.

    4 Losses (2003, 2008, Apr 2012, & Oct 2012)
    All RPL and IF testing with multiple REs = normal

    5 IUIs = BFN
