Progestrone "21 day" test

I sent my RE an email but I know she doesn't respond to emails over the weekend....hey I don't fault her I'm the only one that works non-stop. But my question is has anyone's RE told them the best time to take the 7dpo progestrone test. I don't remember if it is a test that should be taken in the morning while fasting. I've been looking all over the place for my instructions. The 2ww really stresses me out. Thanks ladies.

At our office, all hormone blood draws are before 9am so they can get results and tell you med changes if needed. I did not have to fast for any hormone draws so far.

All my blood draws are between 7:00-8:30am.  My prolactin came back slightly high the first time so I had to have a re draw and that is the only time I ever had to fast for a blood draw.

I did a 7 dpo progesterone test last week they had me come in first thing in the morning between 7 and 8 am. Didn't say anything about fasting but when I went for blood work recently they asked me if I had eaten and I said no, she said the blood test I was getting that day didn't require fasting but you're always better off fasting anyway as blood tests are always most accurate after fasting.

I don't think you need to fast for progesterone.
