Hello, 

My husband's birthday is in December and we normally like to go away since the weather isn't nice in NY.  He told me he would like to go to Aruba this year.  The only problem is that we have a child this time. lol 

So has anyone gone away with their LO for a week and if so, where did you go? and can you recommend a place where we can stay and have a nice time?  I would also like child care if possible it would be nice to have a date night while on Vacation.

Last year we went to PR for my birthday. I didn't have a baby, but we kept saying how it would be a great location with one--not a long flight and the resorts were all ~5 miles from the airport.

We are going to Aruba in December with a 3 month old.  I think its a great place to go!  But if you plan to go around Christmas, you may be too late. Its a very popular holiday destination.  I can also recomend a babysitter there if you end up going

@nycAug2014‌ thank you. We're planning on going the first or second week in December. Where are you planning on staying? And if you don't mind I would love the babysitters info. Have you used the sitter in Aruba before?

I'm in Aruba Ritz Carlton right now. It's beautiful and the service is excellent. They have a program for children called Ritz Kids. I highly recommend it here.
