Does she get Elsie? I was reading comments on a site last night and people with the name said they were called Elsie a lot. Huge deterrent for me. The commets were almost 10 years old, though, so I'm hoping reading comprehension has improved since then.
Also, I pronounce it E-leez but saw it's supposed to be E-lease. Am i completely wrong?
Thanks.

We have friends with a little girl Elise. I usually say uh-lease but some say ee-lease. Never heard it with a z sound.
