Hey guys so I know that it's been a hot one this summer already. How are you all keeping your LO cool in the heat? I live in seattle and it's been in the 90s all week and looks like it's staying that way for a while.

I'm in seattle too! We have all the blinds drawn to help keep the sun out. We also have a fan in the living area to try and keep us cool. J is in just a diaper. Last night I took him in the shower to cool off.

I love in Walla Walla, today it's a whopping 103 degrees. Keeping LO in a diaper or onesie. Our electricity bill is gonna be so stinking high from keeping the air conditioning on.
Central AC and ceiling fans here too. I either do a onesie and muslin swaddle or a long sleeve sleep sack (solely for the mitten cuffs because LO has a tendency to scratcg at her face without them)
Since it's only hot like 2 weeks a year here, our apartment doesn't have AC. and the windows are huge and open like 30 degrees vertically so we can't get a window unit or floor unit (no way to exhaust it). Im not sure what else I can do.
We don't have ac either. @elsa1688 so I am at a loss.
The rest of the country always laughs at our heat waves but when the area isn't set up for heat, it really sucks. A fan blowing on us, shades drawn and cool wash clothes seem to help. Windows are open, LO is in a diaper and if it gets just way to hot, we take a cool shower or hop in the car and head somewhere air conditioned (target, grocery store, mall, etc)
Miami here, so definitely central a/c, all year long. I did buy this fan for the stroller, which seems to keep her really cool during morning walks. We only walk when I know we can stay in the shade the majority of the time.
but its hot when LO goes to bed (75-78 degrees maybe?) And cools down to like 68 by the middle of the night.
I guess DD is already getting her 'native' blood. We turn our ac down to 78 at night (it's at 80 during the day) and she gets cold unless she's swaddled. DH and I are natives too, so 78 and we sleep under our down comforter.
Then again... Easy for 78 to feel cool when it's 110 outside. Lol.
We keep the AC at 80 during the day (peak hours for electricity) so we hang out in the coolest room in the house with fans running, and then drop it to 72 at night. DS is in a onesie during the day and a long sleeved sleeper with a muslin blanket at night.
We use AC and fans pretty much all day and night. The babies sleep in a onesie and a woombie each. I carry A&A swaddle blankets everywhere in case the AC is too cold for their little toes :-).
We were at my sister's grad party yesterday and the AC at my parents' wasn't keeping up. I kept worrying about the girls overheating! It can be stressful to think about for sure!

I live in the Tri Cities! We were just looking at the forecast. 105 on Thursday! We have a/c but it's hard to keep up.

Baby #1: expected June 2014
I'm not new. I just hate The Bump.
I also try to find the right balance for when LO sleeps. A onesie and muslin swaddle seem to work. I trie long sleeves once and he woke up clammy.

@Mia081081 I like the stroller fan idea!
