Clomid?

When during your cycle do you take clomid? Also how long is it taken and how is it taken? Sorry I'm new to all of this.

    Just finished my first round of Clomid. I took it CD 3-7. It's just a 50mg pill I took daily.
    TTC since May 2013 June 2014 diagnosed anovulatory July 2014 50mg Clomid

    I have done 3 rounds 50mg CD 5-9 1x a day

    HSG- Tubes Clear slight scarring on UTE (unexplained)
    DH SA- Normal
    10/12-6/13 Natural 
    Pcos Dx 7/13 Metformin 500mg x2 daily
    4/14 Provera  10days  then Clomid 50mg CD5-9 (BFN)
    5/14 Provera 10days then Clomid 50mg CD5-9  (BFN)
    6/14 (no provera yay!) Clomid 50mg CD5-9  (BFN)
    7/14 Natural Cycle Moving on to RE appt not til 7/31 (BFN)  
    8/14 Plan of action! Moved up to 1500mg Metformin, Femara 3-7 (Trigger canceled due to not big enough follies and holiday weekend) (BFN)
    9/14 7.5mg Femara CD3-7 +ovidrel  (BFN)
    10/14 5mg Femara(3-7) Follistim 75 (7-9) +Ovidrel +TI (last treatment cycle this year Breaking til after Holidays) (BFP! Beta #1 114, Beta #2 364)

    Missed M/C natural cycle 10/2013

    DX PCOS 3/2014

    2 cycles Clomid 50 mg + Ovidrel + TI

    1 cycle Clomid 50 mg + TI - no response stair-stepped to Clomid 75 mg + Ovidrel + TI

    1 cycle Clomid 50 mg + Ovidrel + IUI

    1 cycle Letrozole 7.5 mg + 150 mg Follistim + Ovidrel + TI

    1 cycle Letrozole 7.5 mg + 150 mg Folistim + Ovidrel + IUI

    1 cycle Letrozole 7.5 mg + 150 mg Follistim  - no response, repeated Letrozole 7.5 mg + 150 mg Follistim + Ovidrel + IUI = success! 12/2014

    Beta 1 - 15 dpiui, 324, Beta 2 - 17 dpiui 750. Twins!!

    My RE prescribed it to me (50 mg) CD 5-9 
        BFP: 2/24/14 | EDD: 10/22/14 (triplets) 
    US (with RE) 3/24/2014 (two healthy HB), US (with OB) 3/31/2014 (three healthy heartbeats)
    US (with RE) 4/7/14 No Heartbeats :(  | D&C 4/8/14
    BFP#2: 10/22/14 | (beta  #1 75, beta # 2 219) | EDD 7/3/15 ~*Please be our RAINBOW*~
    DX: MTHFR hetero C677T

    I did 150mg of Clomid starting CD 3-7..I had no side effects from the Clomid luckily. Hopes that helps.

    for me, always CD 3-7; started out w/ 50 mg (no O), then 100 mg (no O), then 150 mg (no O) and now on 200 mg, b/w and ultrasound tomorrow to see where I'm at

    DX: Annovulation
    SA: excellent
    HSG: normal
    Treatment: Clomid 50 mg (NR); 100 mg (NR); 150 mg (NR);
    July 2014 200 mg Clomid w/ good response
    7-19-14 Ovidrel trigger w/ scheduled intercourse on 7/19 and 7/20
    7-24-14 pregnancy symptoms started
    7-31-14 pregnancy symptoms increasing
    8-1-14 BFP!!
    8-2-14 BFP!!
    8-3-14 (just to make sure lol) BFP!!
    8-4-14 b/w confirmed!
    8-6-14 b/w still looks good, u/s scheduled for 8/14 and b/w on 8/13

    My RE started me with 100mg from CD 5-9 because the previous cycle was anovulatory but this cycle same dosage but from CD 3-7.
    Me: +35 DH: +35
    TTC: Since January 2013 
    DX: PCOS. Severe Endometriosis, Unicornuate Uterus w/only left tube and left ovary, Pedunculated fibroid (on the outside of uterus) and Anovulation. All conditions diagnosed 8/13
    TX: Metformin
    DH DX: MFI - low morphology, low motility
    Ultrasound shows both kidneys in spite of UU. 
    HSG showed clear tube on the left side. 
    Lap Surgery performed 1/9/14 to remove fibroid and endo (Stage 3)
    • IUI# 1 June 2014 started 100 mg of Clomid - 7dpiui Progesterone: 13: BFN
    • IUI#2  July 2014 started 100 mg of Clomid - 7dpiui Progesterone: 5.75: BFN
    • Natural Cycle - so shocked to be in 2WW - 7dpo Progesterone: 15.5: BFN
    • Working with new RE starting injectables in late August.
    • IUI #3 August 2014  w/ Menopur: BFN
    • Finally ovulating on my own!!
    Waiting to start IVF hopefully

    I started on 50 mg clomid CD 3-7 but after a few months it was increased to 100 mg which is just taking two pills a day instead of one. We were told on CD 11 to start using OPK and to not bed from CD 11 to positive OPK. When I got my positive we bed that day and two days after. Then on CD 21 I get a blood test to make sure the 100mg is working and that I don't need to increase the dose. Then I wait for AF. When or if she shows up I start all over again.
