I Appreciate the Maturity

When I started posting on this board almost a year ago, I was so overwhelmed with trying to conceive. I always kind of knew something wasn't right since I had never been pregnant in 35 years or even felt anything really where my right ovary is supposed to be. Everyone in my family is a Fertile Myrtle so I just really took my fertility for granted. But when I started posting on this board I came across such kind and knowledgeable woman. And can I say I love the maturity. I sometimes lurk on other boards and while it is a great gesture the whole "baby dust" thing is just weird to me. I just feel like at this point me and DH are going to need a little more than baby dust. But I really like this board, it is my safe haven of knowledge and compassion. And we also have two awesome moderators that never let things get out of hand. Thank you Ladies!!!

I've spent a very, very few minutes having a look at a couple other boards here, out of curiosity for what people are talking about - all I can say is, I would never, ever have joined TB if those were my only options. Who would waste their time? I don't talk to anyone like that IRL, and no one has talked to me like that since at last high school. It's like the worst manifestation of the feeling of anonymity that comes from the internet.

I like 3T because we definitely don't feel anonymous with each other here!
