  • Test once a week until you get a BFP, AF, or you hit CD 60.  At CD 60, call your doctor.  Also, if you are going to be posting here regularly, you will want to read the newbie blog (first post). Good luck.

Are you temping to confirm ovulation? Maybe you just O'ed later then normal and your period is on its way or you are in fact pregnant but still too early to tell. Our bodies are not machines and can O different times every month and the only way to confirm it is with temping.

I really don't think my response to you was rude.  I told you exactly what I would do if I were in the same situation as you.  The ladies here are very smart about what is going on with their bodies.  Many of us chart (CM & temps) using FF and when we need to vent about TWW, we do so in the daily TWW thread.  I would suggest lurking.

Sorry, that has to be so frustrating.  Also, I'm sorry that people here think that being a dick makes them clever.

I don't have a problem, EllyD14.  I just figured I'd be a decent person to someone who found a "trying to get pregnant" board and had the audacity to jump in and talk about trying to get pregnant.

But this isn't a blog, and that's how she treated it. If she wanted to talk about those things, there are daily threads where she can do that. Protocol is important, yo.
Perhaps.  She just struck me as a person who perhaps hasn't had the time to do extensive lurking and research and wanted to have a chat about her situation with other people going through similar things, or at least striving for the same goal.  It didn't seem offensive or malicious to me, so I just showed her the kindness I would appreciate were I in her situation.

I just said perhaps a lot in one line.  Please mentally replace the second one with "maybe." :P

Then she shouldn't be posting yet. There's a thread titled "READ THIS BEFORE YOU POST." How much clearer do things need to be?
I'm not certain everyone takes message board life quite so seriously...or pinned posts as legal imperatives.

  • Ok, I just have to say that I've only been here 2 days and even I knew where this thread was going to head before I even opened it!  Yikes people.

You will not get sugar coated semi -answers here.  It's wonderful and refreshing, quite frankly.

I don't think anyone here thought the OP was posting to be malicious. This post reads like many- a woman decides to try to get pregnant without doing any research or tracking her cycle. That's totally fine, but if you're going to wing it, you can't really complain about being inexplicably late on your period because you don't know you're truly late. It's kind of like refusing to study for a test then complaining when you didn't get a good grade- what positive advice is anyone going to be able to give?

On top of that, ignoring the posting rules is disrespectful. It basically says, I want attention and positive feedback even though I'm not willing to spend even 5 min reading the requested bulletin.

I've been here for two years and this board has been exactly the same, you are clearly either a liar or a troll claiming this.  You know, if we're so horrible you can just leave and not keep posting, simple solution really.  But we all know you're just here to stir up shit, so I won't hold my breath waiting for you to stop coming back to tell us all how nasty we are.
