Nursing question

Hello ladies I just had my second baby a week ago yesterday and we are EBF, DS is almost 2 and I feel like I have forgotten everything! I just have a few questions about nursing and hopefully you ladies can offer me some suggestions and insight! While nursing LO will be latched and drinking and all of a sudden he will pull himself off and want back on but refuses my breast as though he can't find it or latch even though its in his mouth! It happens almost everyday and we end up switching sides does anyone else have experience with this or any suggestions on keeping him latched on and from refusing the breast? TIA !!

Congratulations!  Some LOs are like that and will be more than happy to let you know when they're ready to switch sides.  I remember being so in awe of my new tiny boss.  As long as LO is getting enough food (gaining weight, lots of wet and dirty diapers) there's nothing wrong with what you guys are doing!

Thank you He is definitely gaining weight and going through enough diapers I try and burp him after every side and when he does that and on occasion he does a little burp

My LO does that when he needs a burp, needs a diaper change, or needs the other side. I check all three of those, in that order. If none work, I take him off and walk around the house before trying again.
