  • It's not racy, but I actually forgot we have swiming lessons today and am about 10 minutes from missing them altogether- oops! (Running out the door now!)
Hallelujah, it's a miracle, I have children AND a signature!

  • I had a dream last night about DH and I having THE most romantic dream date EVER. It was awesome! I need this to happen. We were sitting on the same side of the table, holding hands, I rubbed his balls, I covered us with my scarf so we could make out, we were dressed up, good wine, good food... I woke up horny. :\"> Our 7th Wedding Anniversary IS in September...

DS knocked on our door at 6:45 am. I told him it was too early and to go back to bed until Daddy got up for work. DS did and I was amazed. DH left for work at 7:30, and then I told DS he could get up. I contemplated seeing how long he would stay in his bed, but decided I better get up since I am watching another little boy this morning.

LOL I stay up all night on Pinterest looking up ideas for DIY Halloween decor and our party. I will start saud crafts very soon. But, I LIVE for Halloween. I need to do all of the decor for DS' pirate birthday party in August first...

This is the current state of my living room and has been since wed night. There's a zero percent chance of me cleaning it today. Traveling is exhausting and I need like three days to recover.
Eta never mind the bump isn't letting me attach a file. Carry on.

hahaha we watched a Christmas Barney the other day!

I texted DH and told him I was in the mood to put our tree up. He was like 'NO!'
  • The other day I was organizing the boys' room so I let them have a free-for-all playing in the bathroom so they wouldn't just undo all the work I was doing in their room. Well, when I decide to check on them b/c it's eerily quiet in the bathroom I see QTips everywhere. We picked them up and put them all back in the box. The floor was clean enough I guess. :P

  • I just booked the babies' birthday party - it's at 2pm on a Monday. But in my defense, most of my friends are SAHMs, I have one WM friend and I asked her if she'd be able to take time off from work to come, assuming she wants to come. She's my BFF so I didn't think twice about asking her and I know she would have told me if it was an issue. PLUS, I found this awesome play place that's more for little ones, my babies LOVE it there. There was no question we'd do their party there. Too freaking bad it's $350 to have a party there on the weekend! And only $99 during the week.

Like you were holding hands and went straight to rubbing his testicles?

  • I have bad cramps today. My 6 year old is watching tv while I suffer. Later we are going to the bulk food shop to stock up on m&ms and other crap. I need chocolate. I am also making No bake birthday cake bars, even though it's none of our birthday. The recipe on pinterest seems yummy!
  • My kids are camped in the living room with a pile of toys on the floor watching Mickey Mouse. I should feel bad but I don't. They are quiet. The baby has been crying non stop because he has 4 teeth coming in. I hate teething. Mickey Mouse for all!
Ugh not the teething blues! Hang in there....hope they come in quickly and everyone's happy again soon!

Haha no! More like a quick fondle over his jeans, under the table.

  • It just made me laugh! Awesome! I am not the biggest fan of balls, I would rather just skip them lol!
  • Oh I hate them truly. I'm sure I was searching for the whole package under the table. ;)

  • Dd loves Daniel tiger so we had an outing planned today that included a trolley ride and a picnic lunch. She threw up on the way home from dinner out last night. I'm bummed that we can't go on the trolley today! I was looking forward to it!

Also, I love planning the princess cupcake game that she got for her birthday.

  • I met 3 friends for a bday dinner last night at this nice place, not "fancy" per se but relatively pricey, pretty quiet, and the decor is very sleek and minimal if you can picture it. I got there early because I couldn't wait to get a break from a noisy clingy DD (she was being sweet but I'd been waiting for this break allllll week) and was seated RIGHT next to a mom and maybe 1 year old boy. I was irritated beyond belief and I asked to be moved. I don't think I've ever asked for oh, anything extra at a restaurant ever I'm a very low maintenance diner. She probably thought I was a judgemental non-parent diva bitch. But omg the last thing I needed was to listen to this kids incessant nonverbal chattering. He was being very well behaved too.

I am already shopping for passive aggressive Christmas gifts for step mil. She is queen of passive aggressive bitchy gifts, I though it was just me but her daughters confirmed it. So not in the right spirit but I don't give a fuck, she is a horrible person.
Can I get an example of what a "passive aggressive bitchy gift" is? I'm curious.

Like, someone complains they have wrinkles, so you get them wrinkle cream? Like that?
A cheap world's best grandma tshirt?

I like to hum non-traditional lullabys to DD2 because if I have to hum Hush Little Baby or Twinkle Twinkle Little Star one more time I will lose it.  So lately The Tiger Song from the Hangover and Nirvana's Smells Like Teen Spirit it is.  They sound rather lovely when hummed in a lullaby fashion and DD doesn't have to hear the actual words.  It's a win-win.  I encourage everyone to turn their favorite and most inappropriate song into a lullaby to their children.  :-)

There's a violin version of smells like teen spirit. It's awesome. I think the violinist's name is David Garret. I play them for background music while my high school students are working. :)

  • I think it's weird when people announce their pregnancy and then immediately tell everyone the baby's name. Maybe I'm just jealous because it was so hard to name my kids with my husband having to agree. I think it takes some of the mystery out of the birth announcement and opens it up for people to give their opinion on the name.
Also my kids had frozen yogurt for lunch. I'm so over today.

I loathe our daily walk. I take the kid and dog to our town park which has extensive hiking trails along a creek with mountain backdrop. It's scenic and lovely and I should feel lucky it's a part of my day. But no. I am NOT out there singing Colors of the Wind. I'm sweating and panting and yelling "HEEL" and getting rammed in the back with a big red short arm cast. I freaking hate that hike. Some nature woman, huh?

At least you do it anyway.  I'm all "Eh.  It looks like it might rain at some point in the next six months."  List this under reasons we have cats instead of a dog...

I bought a new swimsuit a few weeks ago and our trip to the cabin is next week. I'm not feeling so confident anymore, and I'm thinking about "forgetting it at the house." Now the day I got it in the mail, I would've worn it to the mall but as of now I wouldn't want to wear it in the shower.  :(

    Edit: words are hard.

This reminds me of when we were at the ILs when the twins were a few months old and MIL tried to get them to sleep by playing a slow acoustic version of Katy Perry's "Teenage Dream" on her ipod....

Speaking of MIL, I figured out why she can bug me so much sometimes. I mean she's a nice lady and very generous esp w/ babysitting, but she is sooo hyper and over-the-top w/ the babies. Like if they're fussy she makes a bigger commotion to get them to calm down, or if they're playing she's always trying to force them to say things or answer her questions rather than just watching what they do and responding. But yeah I figured out that she reminds me of a former colleague I had w/ a comparable teaching style. Across the hall all I ever heard was her yelling and barking out questions, giving the students zero wait time to process and answer. It annoyed the crap out of me and I feel like MIL's the same way w/ the babies.....it's all about her. But anyway....it kinda makes me feel better to know just why she pushes my buttons....well it's not just that but that's part of it, heheh.
