Another T&P request

Hi ladies. Another T&P request, this time for a friend. She found out at her 20 week u/s that her sweet baby girl has severe heart defects. She will likely require open heart surgery as soon as she is born and will need continuous care throughout her life. I'd appreciate any thoughts, prayers, and well wishes that their baby (Isla) has the best of a bad situation. The family is relocating to Philly to be in the CHOP heart program, so hoping the skilled doctors there can work miracles! Thanks ladies!

    A/S findings: Baby is a girl! EIF found on heart :( but maternit21 came back neg for chromosome disorders!!

    Sending all the thoughts and prayers I can their way! I know a family who experienced the same circumstances, their son has had five heart surgies but he is now a perfectly happy and healthy 5 year old!

    Thank you all! It just hits so close to home when it's someone you grew up with. Being pregnant again, it really makes me think! I appreciate all of the support you ladies always provide!

    Many T&Ps for your friend and her baby. CHOP is awesome! A friend of mine had their DD there, and have spent a lot if her first year in and out if CHOP. As a matter of fact, she just had open heart surgery there 2 weeks ago and is doing great. Unfortunately she will need many more surgeries as she grows, but they have been wonderful to my friend and his family.
