Trouble TTC

Going insane. (BFP loss mentioned)

So ladies, I just tore my DH a new one for not mowing the yard this morning. I am perfectly aware that he is a grown man and can mow any time he wants too but my descent into the land of bitchy is one symptom of the stress I know we all are feeling so I'll rant here and give my poor hubby some space.

You see, 5 weeks ago, after 14 months of trying, we finally got our first BFP. I was so excited I took a test every day for a week. But then the spotting started and when I went in for blood work it was negative. Still. It's been two weeks and nothing has happened. A week ago we had a doctor appointment, which was completely useless, and in which Doc said she would refer me for an ultrasound. Haven't heard back from her yet. She was also going to refer me to a specialist OBGYN.

I know I was at least 6 weeks along when I lost it, maybe even 7. And it's still in there! Every second of every day I'm on edge waiting for the cramps and the blood. I'm either in tears, growling at my husband, or asleep (for some reason I'm always tired now)

This is even worse than the TWW!

Re: Going insane. (BFP loss mentioned)

  • I am so sorry. It really sucks to be in limbo. Please push for a follow up ultrasound to ensure you are not dangerously retaining tissue.

  • I'm so sorry for your loss. It sounds like your doctor really needs to get herself in order and provide a follow up check to give you some reassurance and take care of your health and emotional well-being at this time.

    So, so sorry. :(

  • I'm so sorry that you're going through such a struggle right now :(

Trying to have baby #1 since April 2013

DH SA March,May 2014 - Low motility and shape issues. On vitamins per RE to help

Me testing April 3, 2014 - FSH and LH good, HSG showed blocked right tube

April 29, 2014 - First RE appt., right tube needs to be removed and possibly left also if

it's bad too. RE suggests going straight to IVF

June 4, 2014 - LAP/HSC and unexpected endo. removed but tubes got to stay!

June 13, 2014 - Post-Op appointment. We decide where to go next since main issue

is MFI influenced. Trying naturally until decision... Repeat SA  in September. Aiming for IUI #1 November 2014.
